Richards sat in an interrogation room, one he had been in before. Just never on this side. The handcuffs were tight on his wrists, but that was to be expected. He was a traitor to the badge. He was a nightmare to the citizens of Baltimore. He was a terror, a menace, an idiot for trusting Casey.

He should have known he was nothing than a fall man. She lied to him the entire time. And no one would believe him if he tried. He debated on giving the cops the address to the hotel, but he figured everything was cleared out by now. Or there was more evidence that would connect him to the murders, so it was pointless. He had nowhere to turn. He was trapped in a web that he never meant to get caught in.

Everyday he was interviewed and everyday he kept silent. The FBI agents who interrogated him gave him clues as to what he was supposed to have done. How he and the cop who found Casey started the murders and that he brought Elizabeth in. He learned just how much Casey framed him, leaving names, trophies, murder weapons, even human meat in his fridge. But everyday he remained silent.

He had nothing to say. This is what he should have expected. He was blind to her tricks. She made him think they were on the same side when really, she needed someone to blame. As much as he blamed Casey, he blamed himself.. This was his fault too. This was happening because of his obsession. This was the consequences of an obsession.

While Richards remained silent, Elizabeth did not. She spoke, but she never spoke of Casey or the Horde. She was still their rook. She took the fall and blamed Richards for everything. She got a plea deal to testify against him and she took it. She received a sentence of fifty years in prison with a chance of parole. But Elizabeth wasn't worried. She knew the Beast would save her. They would come for her. She knew it. And her faith in the Horde never wavered. Not even as she drew her last breath.

Emma returned to the hotel seven years later to find the whole place abandoned. No trace of the Horde was left. No trace Casey existed was there. Emma wandered the entire place, but there was nothing. The rooms were destroyed and deserted, the drawers were empty, the office was locked and through the dirty glass Emma could see the dust surround the once clean place. She had been waiting for someone to reach out to her after Elizabeth was arrested, but nothing. She stayed with the cult for three years before she decided to move on and try to start a new life.

She found a job, a man who loved her, and eventually found her place in this world. She forgot about the man who once choked her and the girl who she shared a room with. She moved on with her life, but before she could fully move on, she had to go back to that hotel. And once she found nothing, she was able to close that chapter of her life and live the rest of her life happy and fulfilled.

Richards lasted two years in jail before he was murdered by his fellow inmates. He never confessed to the crimes he committed, but he plead guilty in the courts to avoid a long, messy trial. The last words he ever said was to himself as he bled to death in the shower. His last words were, "This is the consequences of an obsession."
