"WAH!!" sigaw ni Leo. "Eagles."

"Hotel California," diretso kong sabi.

Yes! Lamang na naman kami! Kanina pa kasi naghahabulan ang scores namin. Kapag nakakahula kami, nakakahula rin sila. Tig-iisang puntos lang ang lamang tapos tabla na naman. Nakailang kanta na kami. Baka maubusan na sila ng hinandang kanta para sa amin.

Naghintay kami ng sagot ni Brix. I know Brix is into bands and RnB. So I doubt kung alam niya ang title nito.

"Uhmm..."

"Time's up! Pwedeng magsteal ang kabila."

"Sometimes!" sabi ko.

"Britney Spears," sagot naman ni Leo.

Yeeess! Dalawa na lamang namin. Kapag kasi nakatatlong lamang na, panalo na kami. Kasi nga kanina pa naghahabulan ang score.

We were transferred to the AVR kung saan tahimik. Pinaupo kaming apat sa magkalayong mga upuan. They started giving us the answer sheets and questionnaires. Thirty minutes ang time limit and we have to answer a total of 50 questions each.

Ia-add ang score ng teammates at ang may mas malaking score will move on to the next round which is the finals. I'm quite confident with GI kasi mahilig akong magbasa, especially ng mga facts at current events.

I'm also confident with my partner. Alam kong matalino rin si Kevin Chan. However, may ilan sa mga tanong na about sa Austin. Like ang pangalan ng chair of a specific department or office. Mabuti na lang alam ko ang mga ito. I'm the student council president so dapat lang na alam ko kung sinu-sino ang namamahala at may malalaking posisyon sa skwelahan. Ewan ko lang kung kilala ba sila ni Kevin Chan.

I reviewed my answer and decided to pass my answer sheet after reviewing. May mga 10 minutes pa bago ang time. Lumabas ako ng AVR at doon na naghintay. Di nagtagal ay lumabas na rin si Maurice.

"As expected, madali mo lang natapos," bungad niya sa akin.

"Ikaw din naman eh," I answered and she just smiled.

"I did not expect us to be going head-to-head for the semi-finals. Dapat tayo yung sa finals eh. Hehe."

"But this feels like finals, though. I feel so nervous for the result."

"Oo nga. It's an academic type of competition. The type we are always in, Mika," Maurice said with a smile. "Good luck. Whoever wins deserves it."

I smiled, too, as I wished her good luck also. I actually like competing with Maurice because she has such integrity. Ginagawa niya ang lahat ng makakaya niya. And I also get nervous everytime we go head-to-head since I know she really is smart.

"Oh by the way, about dun sa locking-up incident and bullying issue regarding Cassie, I know hindi na yun dapat ungkitin pero gusto ko lang magpaliwanag. I really thought it was Bianca. Sa phone lang kasi niya ako kinausap at nagpakilala siya bilang si Bianca. I had no idea that that was Cassie. I'm sorry I gave you wrong information."

"It's okay. We all have no idea that time."

"Yeah. But I really admire you, Mika. You are really kind. You were able to forgive so easily after what happened. Kaya marami kang napapaibig eh. Hahahah."
