Preslynn was drinking a beer in her cheer uniform after a home college game at NYU. She was texting her boyfriend Josh who was stationed at Fort Bragg when Steve and the boys walked in.
"Just to warn you girls Bucky's not happy." Sam said as they dropped their football gear.
"Whose Bucky?' Preslynn said as she took a sip of her beer.
"Oh that's right. Um he's another one of our friends that we went to high school with in Brooklyn." Sam said
"Why haven't I met him yet? We have known each other since freshmen year last year." Preslynn said
"Oh well cause he doesn't really um how do I say this." Sam said
"He's girlfriend has him whipped just say it Sam. Ever since he started dating her junior year he quit doing everything fun and turned into this good little boyfriend he doesn't party or he's not allowed to talk to cheerleaders or dancers." Clint said
"This crap again guys. "Bucky said as he walked in.
Preslynn leaned back to look behind Steve then she smiled and walked over to him and said "Hi I'm Preslynn Carter I'm friends with the girls."
He swallowed hard and said "Hi Preslynn I'm Bucky Barnes it's nice to meet you."
"Where's your girlfriend?" she said
"Oh um she goes to school at UCLA." he said as he walked over to get a beer.
"Hence why I said he's in a bad mood." Sam said
"Well some of us don't get laid as often as you all do Sam" Preslynn said
Bucky looked at her and said "Well darlin it's a damn shame if someone as beautiful as you isn't getting laid."
"Buck.." Nat said
Preslynn looked down and said "My boyfriend is stationed at Fort Bragg."
"I take it by the accent you are from South Carolina." Bucky said
She looked up at him and said "TN. How did you know that the base is in South Carolina."
"Military Brat." he said
"Oh.. me too." she said as she replied to Josh then said "Well um I'm going to go to my dorm." as she found her keys.
"Preslynn.." Wanda said
"I just um I'm gonna go talk to Josh and I'll see you tomorrow." she said and she left.
Bucky said "She has to be tough for 19 year old."
"She's tough alright but their relationship has to be strong and stable to be handle what she's going through." Wanda said
They drank some more beer and watched movies for the rest of the night.
