I'll smile for you
They could think I'm selfish and cruel.
I'll turn away cause the light is too bright....
Maybe I enjoy it..... Staying in the dark....
I don't need help..... It's no ones fault.
I did it to myself. My heartless mind playing games.
Filling my memories with only my mistakes....
Telling me that surely they all hate....
I'm kinda glad...... It's not just me.....
We are in large number who stay up with nothing precious to hold on to.
Scared to break and hurt those we care about
While we keep our thoughts in our head and smile....
Fake..
I hate it too you know?
But what can I do
I'd probably say 'it's all for you'...............
