(With no relevance to the story here's Giddy Up because I love it so much and for an upbeat track for this chap)
I sit down at my desk and glance to my left toward Kevin. We started our final projects not long ago and we both chose to paint. The theme for or final is 'love' and my painting is about love and the sad part of losing someone you care about. I look at my canvas and the beginnings of a broken vase with water and flowers falling off the table it once sat on, then I look at Kevin's painting. His painting seems like it's going to be a girl from the back view, holding her chest and reaching out to what could be the sky. I can't help but watch him as he starts to apply his oil paints to his canvas, one that is half his size. I look back at my canvas and get my acrylics out and begin painting my own final. I put my headphones in and let the music flow through my head as I relax and focus. This is probably the most calm I've felt in a while. Time passes and as it's free studio time I go back on my lunch break to paint more. I end up painting most of the background and base colours before I decide to rest my head on the table. After a while I open my eyes and look around. The room is empty and I practically spring up to check the time. It's the end of the day and I rush to put my things away and run to my locker. I see no one in the halls and decide to walk instead of rush. The sky is cloudy but I'm not sad, and instead comfortably walk along the street. I'm walking peacefully when I feel a drop hit my face.
It's beginning to rain and at first it doesn't bother me, but as it starts to pick up in intensity, I run to the nearest store and stand under the frontage. I look around to see no people on the streets and debate on running all the way to the dorm the boys stay in. I hold my arm as I debate internally, just when I see a person run to me with an umbrella. I squint my eyes to see them better and am relieved to see Juhaknyeon. He slows down when he reaches me and gives me a super bright smile. He looks at me closely before handing me his uniform blazer over my shoulders. I refuse it, but he insists that I keep it on. "Just wear it till we get home." He says. My heart beats a little faster with those words and his kind smile. He then hands me the umbrella, grabs my free hand and pulls me along as we run to the dorm. Without a second to think, we stand at the doors and I look over to Juhaknyeon who's hair is wet and shirt is drenched. "You didn't have to do that." I say. He only smiles in response as we head upstairs to the others. Once inside I insist that he shower first because I take longer, and for now get changed into a comfy pair of track pants and an oversized shirt. I come back down from my room and am met with Younghoon apologizing for them leaving me behind. "It's not your guys's fault, I'm not angry." I say. He nods as I take a seat on the couch. After a few minutes of waiting, Juhaknyeon comes down from his shared room, drying his hair with a towel, his shirt in hand. I look away as to not stare at his naked upper half, and wait until he tells me it's okay. I say thanks again, and head up to the washroom where I take a long hot shower and relax. After I finish, I dry my hair a little bit and head to sleep.
