Chapter I: Dont Be Scared

{ Before I start anything, I have written many stories before, but I grew to hate them. That being said, this is so far the only story I will have up... for now. I figured that I would just do a high school AU to start out since I can kind of go my own way without much planning. However, I am planning to do a violentine story that is actually in the walking dead universe. Now, some other things I need to address before we start:
1) I type super fast, so there will probably be accidental grammar and spelling issues, sorry.
2) If you dont like the ships I include in this story, please turn around and leave, we dont need your drama here.
3) If I do similar events to others, I am very sorry, some people think the same. So keep your, "Oh this person did this... blah accusations blah copier blah," to yourself.
4) I accept ideas and constructive critism.
5) There will be mature content: smut, drugs, alcohol, etc. They are teens, teens do that kind of thing. In no way do I try to sexualize them purposefully, but come on guys.
6) Lastly, I have been playing the game since season 1 came out. I will pull details from all seasons, as well as easter eggs. However, if I mess up and get a fact wrong, feel free to correct me, its been a while.

(P.s. Im going to take last names from the voice actors if they dont have one, or are not rumored to have one. Some characters will not be in the same school with the highschoolers, but they will most likely make appearances in some way.)

Clementine Marsh was woken up abruptly by her cute brother jumping on her, full force. She groaned, not really being a morning person whatsoever. She sat up flashing her little brother a smile before attacking him with tickles. "You really wanna play this game, goofball?" She questioned as he made breathy attempts to tell her to stop. After a couple seconds she stopped, sliding herself out of the comfortable bed which she longed for.

"Dad told me to get you up so you could get ready for school," AJ said while he sat up, holding his tingling side that Clem violently attacked. "Breakfast is ready, but you slept in, soooo, hurry?" He smiled with a head nod towards her clock before running out.

Clementine shook her head before seeing the time: 7:30??! She gathered her bag and ran downstairs as if she was being chased. She ran to the table, grabbing a single piece of toast while making attempts to catch her breath.

"Someone's excited." Lee said with a chuckle before kissing his wife who was off to her new reporter job. "Did you sleep well, sweetpea?" He questioned, shifting his gaze to his daughter while rolling up his sleeves.

Clementine had a mouth full of toast, but still managed to nod. She swallowed before speaking, "Yeah, until this little monster jumped on me." She giggled, rubbing AJ's head to which he moved away from her, not wanting to be babied.

Lee nodded before walking to the door. He then grinned at Clementine, "Ready to be embarrassed by your dad, and fellow history professor?" He chuckled, already knowing Clem didn't like that idea by the way her eyes shifted to the ground. "Im kidding, hon." He said, tapping the bill of her hat.

Clementine knew that he wasn't kidding, but she was going to try to get used to the idea. She loved her father and would do anything for him, but she still groaned at the idea of being embarrassed by him.

AJ was dropped off at his school, which left Lee and Clementine in the car, jamming out to random tunes. He pulled up in the teacher parking lot and parked. He took notice of her staring at Ericson building and gave her a reassuring touch on the shoulder. Moving homes is scary, but moving schools is even worse and he couldn't imagine the stress she must be feeling. "It's going to be alright, its a new year, there are probably many people like you. Please just give it a chance." He said, waiting for a response.
