{ The photo above is a Violet drawing I did after the boat sinks in ep 3. She lost her eye because for some reason I like that rumor. Also, I'm dealing with a rough patch in my life right now, so I'm sorry if updates get more spread out than usual. Just a lot of shit is going on and it's hard to handle. Have some fluff and angst or whatever this turns out to be? Idfk. }

Clementine said that she'd only give Violet about ten minutes to explain to her what happened, but they have already been together for about an hour just holding each other and crying. Violet explained what happened, yet Clementine still felt left in agony. She wanted Violet to understand the pain she felt, but she couldn't without getting physical which isn't something she wanted to do.

Violet gently brushed her fingers through Clementine's hair and the silence continued. However, it wasn't a good silence whatsoever and it made Violet uneasy. She couldn't even tell where that mishap left her and Clementine's relationship anymore. Her mind was going through all the bad shit, but she still tried to remain hopeful.

Eventually they ended up passing out, both being pretty intoxicated and the silence didn't help with that factor.

~ Time Skip A Couple Of Weeks ~

Things were bad for a while, Violet feeling like she had to walk on eggshells around Clementine, and Clementine feeling physical pain whenever she saw Minerva during softball practice. That moment replayed in her mind for a while, but things started to get better at a certain point. Violet had came over with some roses and once again apologized to Clementine and things started to change.

Eventually, they all stopped talking about that forbidden night and it just became a bad memory. On another note, graduation was right around the corner, and Clementine seemed to be asking to hang out with Violet and the group a lot more than usual. This left Violet wondering why.

This brought them to today, and they were all chilling in Louis' basement. Another thing that went down was that James was now part of the group and usually hung out with them. Clementine and James had quickly become really good friends, being able to bond so easily.

They had just finished their conversation over what they want to end up doing after high school. It was still a shock to all of them that it was so close. All they had ever done was complained about school and how much they wanted it to end, but when the time was finally coming it felt weird.

Clementine's smile turned into a saddened expression. "Hey, guys?" She practically whispered, her tone being soft and somber. All heads turned towards her. "I have some shitty news." Clementine started, feeling the lump in her throat start to form.

"What happened?" Violet questioned, placing her hand on Clementine's gently.

She almost couldn't form words. "Long story short, I won't be here after graduation."

"What are you saying?" Louis leaned forward, his tone being serious for once in his life.

Everyone was staring at her, confused and surprised, and sad of course. One of their good friends was leaving them so soon?

"My dad gave me the news about a week ago. That's why I've wanted to hang out all the time. My mom's job requires her to move around a lot and we have to go back to Georgia..." Clementine looked up and everyone seemed to be on the verge of tears, especially Louis and Violet.

"That's like four hundred states away. You can't-" Louis was fumbling his words, looking nervously between her and Violet.

"I have no choice, I need to get my life in order. I mean I would just be graduating high school so living on my own is terrifying. I know that I could just move in with you and Violet but I just... I don't know, everything is so fucked." Clementine down at her hands and sighed out. She was battling with what seemed right versus what she actually wanted.

The room went silent for a bit before Clementine decided to try to lighten the mood. "I will keep in touch with all of you. Trust me, we can video chat all the time!" She smiled, trying to remain hopeful that her connections to her friends, or more so disfunctional family, would still be evident. "I just need time to figure things out and then I'm s-sure I can make my graceful return." Clementine smiled, but it dropped seeing no one else smiling. "C'mon guys..."

Violet stood up and didn't say anything. Her hair fell down over one eye and she slowly made her way out of the room.

"Vi!" Clementine stood up and Violet glared back at her.

"This is bullshit." Was the last thing she said before quickly exiting the basement.

"Fuck." Clementine sat down and held her face in her hands.

James spoke up, "Listen, Clem, we are all here for you. Just know that. The news is just painful and honestly it sucks." He looked towards the distraught girl and felt Louis place a hand on his shoulder.

"I'm going to go check on her. Clementine you might want to come along when you are done here." Louis smiled, it only being a little fake, before he excused himself.

Suddenly everyone stood up and walked to stand infront of Clementine. She also stood, looking around at them with sad eyes. Eventually, they all engulfed her in a warming group hug. "Didn't mean to ruin this hang out session." Clementine chuckled even though she was slightly sobbing into James' chest.

They all held her for a bit before their embrace broke off. Literally every single person there was crying, even Mitch! Sophie had to hold him while he tried to hide his emotions. Eventually, Clementine excused herself to go find Violet and Louis. As she walked upstairs she heard some commotion from the backyard and followed the noise. She walked out to see Louis tightly hugging Violet and they were both breaking down in tears. { Ik that I never really got into Clem and Louis' friendship, but he was like her bestfriend so he is hella hurt. }

Louis heard the sound of the sliding glass door and wiped his tears away. "Sorry for the sob fest out here. The fun zone seems a little less... fun right now." He chuckled, his voice breaking a little which only made Clementine's heart throb more.

"I'm sorry, Louis." Clementine looked down before moving towards him to hug onto him. He ended up slightly picking her up and she wrapped her legs around his waist. They cried on each other for a while. Saying goodbye was the worst and it felt like they almost had no time left. Telling the group about her moving away was one of the most painful things that she felt in all of her life.

Louis set her down and they smiled at each other before Louis tipped the bill of her hat down playfully. "You better not forget about us, Marsh."

"Never."

He gave her a short, soft hug before looking towards Violet who looked like she could hardly hold herself together anymore. "I'll let you two talk." Louis nodded before making his way back into the house.

Clementine finally turned towards Violet. "Liste-"

"No." Violet shook her head, turning around. If she looked into Clementine's eyes for one more second, she would lose her composure. "No.. Clem.. tell me that it's not true!" Her voice raised slightly and she felt like screaming.

"..." Clementine stepped forward and wrapped her arms around her girlfriend's waist. "It's true, Vi, I'm so sorry." Clementine mumbled into the back of her dark purple hoodie, but she knew Violet heard her.

Violet began to let everything out and she almost crumpled in Clementine's arms. So much for keeping her composure. Clementine's grip on her tightened and she turned her around in her arms. Violet's cheeks were stained with tears and her eyes were bloodshot and lidded. "I can't lose you."

"You aren't losing me dork. I'm willing to keep this relationship together if you are. I can't lose you either Vi, I wont." Clementine said, a little hopeful.

Violet shut her eyes and nodded. "I- yes... let's do that." Violet could barely muster enough courage to speak right now. The news felt like a gunshot to her heart. She already had abandonment issues, so this didn't help whatsoever.

"I love you." Clementine tilted her head, waiting to hear her return the words. She almost lived off of those three words.

"...just kiss me..." Violet's voice broke, but Clementine took no hesistation to comply with her order.

{ More plot twistsssssss. Mkay, I'm done. Sorry for the short chapter, but you know I'm crying for like the third time today so that's a good stopping point... }
