Right then, someone I never expected to see walked into the room.
"Hey guys! A little birdie told me that you were in the studio so I decided to come say hi," Ronnie said. He looked between me, Kiya, Max, and Craig. "Who are these lovely ladies?" he asked, gesturing to us.
"This one over here eating fudge poptarts and Mountain Dew is Skarrlet," Max said. What was with everyone talking for me? I realized Max had only heard me say a single sentence the whole time.
"You can call me Skar for short, I'll kill you if you call me Skarrlet," I told Ronnie.
Kiya giggled. "She's not joking, that's one of the reasons we call her Skar," she said, not joking in the slightest. There were a few more reasons, but that didn't matter right now. "I'm Kiya," she said as she introduced herself. Ronnie walked over to me first and pulled me into another hug. His was more bone crushing, I couldn't breathe.
"Ronnie..... Can't....... Breathe!!" I managed to choke out. He let me go with a look of apology on his face.
"I'm so sorry, I'm just used to slightly larger people," he said. Did I really seem that anorexic? As if reading my mind, Max spoke.
"You know, for such a skinny girl, you eat quite a bit."
"Yeah, I get that a lot."
"She has a high metabolism," said Kiya.
"Ooooooohh," Max and Ronnie said at the same time. Ronnie walked over to Kiya, pulling her into a hug, appearantly more gently. Craig looked livid.
Kiya's POV
Oh god. I was being hugged by Ronnie Radke. While Craig Mabbitt was right behind me. This is officially the best day of my life. Nothing could ruin this. Ronnie pulled away and looked down at me. Curse me and my shortness! Ronnie smiled at me.
"You're not that short you know," he said, making me blush slightly.
"Did I say that out loud?"
"Yes, you did. Your facial expressions are quite funny, to tell you the truth," he said, looking amused. I looked back up at him. His eyes were beautiful, but not as much as Craig's. Craig's were hypnotizing. I got lost in them just thinking about them. Ronnie stared at me.
"What?" I asked, slightly confused. Everyone started laughing. Fudgenuts.
"I asked if you were Wiccan," he said.
"Oh, uhm, no not really. I believe that there is something for you in another life, but I disagree with the bible," I said, stating my thoughts that I was sure only me and Skar believed. He looked slightly shocked. Craig looked like he watched someone run over his dog then bring it back to life and teach it how to do backflips.
"Those are my thoughts exactly!" he exclaimed. I giggled. Sweet! Now I know that it's alright to kinda be myself with Leila. I glanced down at her, but an arm was in my way. I realized that me and Ronnie were still holding each other. I let go quickly. Skar and Max snickered. I glared at them, causing Max to shiver and Skar to send me her, as I like to call it, lava glare. I apologized with my eyes. Max looked terrified at the both of us. Suddenly I heard loud laughter from behind us. We all turned and looked at the door. Standing there was the one and only Jacky Vincent. He smiled at us and glanced over to Skar. His eyes raked her body, clearly checking her out. I realized that I was in a room with four major pervs. And Craig and Leila weren't part of that. My god this was going to be interesting.
"Hey are you wearing playboy boxers?" asked Skar. And this is where it starts.
Jacky smirked. "Yes actually, would you like to see more?" he asked. Woah his British accent really was stronger in person. I recalled Skar saying she wanted to snuggle with his accent once. Man that chick really is flat out crazy.
"Hmmm, it's a sweet offer, but I'll have to pass this time," she said slyly.
"Can I punch you?" Max asked Jacky out of nowhere. Ronnie inserted himself then.
"Hey I know we're friends again, but that doesn't give you the right to be a jerk to my guitarist!" I noticed Skar slip in her headphones. Actually only one. This should be fun.
"Ladies, ladies. Calm yourselves. There's no need to fight, can't we just kiss and make up?" Skar said. Their expressions were priceless. Jacky walked over to her.
"Okay," he said as he leaned down and kissed her. She pulled away immediately and slugged him in the jaw. Yeah, she was kinda badass like that. He held onto his jaw for a minute, then saw her giving him her signature death glare. It was quite similar to mine actually. He kind of yiped and jumped back. Ronnie was slightly shocked again at his friends actions, and probably Skar's glare. Max put a hand on her shoulder. She spun and punched him in the stomach then walked out of the room as Max fell to the ground in pain. Monte stepped into the room a few seconds after Skar left. He looked at everyone and said he'd go get her.
Ronnie stared at me in amazement. He had a questioning look in his eyes. "She only does that when she gets really mad. She has anger issues though, so be careful with what you do and say around her," I said. I knew why she had flipped, but that was for her to say when she felt the time was right.
Skar's POV
Jacky leaned in and kissed me. A thousand memories, some good but mostly bad, came crashing through my head. I pulled away from him and slugged him in the jaw. I let all of my hate pour through my eyes and into his soul. He took one look into my eyes and I swear he died a little inside. He yiped a bit and jumped back. Ronnie had an expression of slight shock on his face. Whatever. I felt a hand on my back. I turned around and punched whoever it was, probably Max, in the stomach then walked out of the room. I caught a glimpse of Monte, but I kept walking. As soon as I heard him open the door I ran for the exit, not sure where I was going. I ran and ran away from the studio and down the street as fast as I could. I tried but I couldn't run from my memories, my past. I ran for awhile longer before I finally sat down on a strip of land with soft green grass on it as a divider. A few moments later I felt someone pull me into a hug. For all I knew it could be a dingy old creeper but at the moment I didn't care. I buried my face in their chest and let the tears I hadn't cried for years flow down my face. That had just been my breaking point. After a solid ten minutes of crying, I looked up to see who the mystery man was. He was kind of skinny, but muscley. He had a tightish black Misfits t shirt, so I had hope. When I looked up, I was slightly shocked. His black and blonde hair looked awesome, as always, and people didn't lie when they said he had a young looking face. His eyes where different than what I thought they would be, but they were still beautiful. It was Monte. How had I not realized he was following me? I must've been too lost in my own thoughts.
"So that's the beautiful face of Skar everyone's been worried about. You know, I can tell they really already care about you and Kiya. Craig wouldn't shut up about her the night he met her," Monte said as he took off his now ruined shirt because of my tears. "Do you mind?" he asked as an afterthought.
"No it's fine. And you really think they care about me? They can't. They just met me," I said. There was no way. Monte used his shirt to clean my face up. He spoke as he wiped up the tears and adjusted my makeup.
"They do. I know they can too, because I already care. Do you want to talk about it?" he asked. Why was he so nice? I didn't like it.
"Umm.... I guess if you want to know I can tell you," I said.
