Slumber Party!

After listing off Skar's and mine favorite bands, I saw Max perk up. I turned my head to see Monte carrying Skar bridal style back into the studio's parking lot. He set her down and they walked back into the studio, Max immediately by the door waiting. A few seconds later, the door opened and Monte and Skar walked in. Max engulfed Skar in a giant hug and apologized over and over, saying it was his fault. I looked over at Craig and saw him unsuccessfully trying to stifle laughter. I bursted out laughing at his expression, and the he started laughing because he couldn't stop it any longer. Everyone except Leila, who was smiling at her dad, looked at us with confused yet amused expressions. (A/N: that accidentally rhymed!) After a while, everyone was on the ground laughing. Me and Skar where the two idiots who were the last to stop though, because we were both remembering different times together. I looked up at the clock and came to a sudden stop though, because of the time. It was eleven. I turned to Skar.

"We should probably get going," I said.

"Oh okay umm, Monte said they needed a place to stay for a bit so they were wondering if they could stay with us tonight," she said. She seemed happy at the thought of Max staying with us.

"Oh yeah, of course you can stay with us!" I said.

"Yay!" the three shouted in unison. Jacky pouted in the corner. I realized he hadn't said a thing since Skar came back. Oh well, he'd get over it.

We walked out to Craig's car, and he drove us home. We gave him directions since he insisted that we just let him drive us and save us gas. He dropped us off at the apartment, and we all walked up the steps and into the building. We took an elevator to the middle floor and walked to room A6. I unlocked the door and we all stepped inside. 'This should be fun' I thought.

"This is a decent sized apartment," Max said.

"Yeah, well, we got lucky," I said.

"Hey, I'm gonna go change. I'll be right back," said Skar. She walked over to Monte and whispered something to him, then walked out of the room.

"Umm, Max, don't freak out when Skar comes back out. She will explain everything," said Monte. Oh no she's gonna tell Max. Monte already knows. I thought about this for a while until she came back out in long basketball shorts. She gestured for them to sit on the floor with her. We all sat in a small circle, so everyone could see.

"Monte, these are what I was talking about earlier," Skar said as she lifted her shorts.
