3 weeks after the attack.

The two were nowhere to be found. They don't know where they are, and they're starting to lost hope. "D-Dad... did you find M-Mom and o-oppa already?" Her voice was shaking a little, trying not to break down in tears. "N-Not yet... H-Haewon-ah"

"O-Okay..."

She turned around, and went to her room... probably cry herself to sleep again.

~~~~~
She was back at school again after taking a 3 weeks break because of what happened.
She was walking on the corridors alone... for the first time. "I miss you, oppa" She muttered and prevented her tears from falling. A couple of seconds later, she stopped, she was already in front of her classroom.
Opened the door and went to her seat without saying anything. "Hey, that's Haewon, right?" One of the kids said and pointed at her. "I heard her mother and brother is missing"
"Yeah my Mom told me they were"
"My parents said we should stay away and not be friends with her anymore, because her family brings danger and we could get ourselves in danger too"
They continued, like the one they were talking about wasn't there with them. Haewon just decided to ignore them and plugged in the earphones she brought.
~~~~~

Being the 'topic of the day'— or could be a 'topic of the week' or 'topic of the month'— is exhausting. She thought.

"Welcome home, Haewon-ah... how's school?" Her Dad asked with a sad smile on his face. "It was fine... totally fine, Dad" She said, almost murmuring the last words before heading up to the stairs and went to her room.

And when she got in, she broke down in tears.

"It's wasn't fine, Dad"

Her eyes suddenly went to their family picture hung on her wall, she looked at her Mom and brother. "Mom... oppa, I miss you... please come back"

Then there she is... crying, again.

~~~~~
2 years later.
She just graduated a week ago. 2 years had already passed, they were still nowhere to be found, and she was starting to lose hope.
She passed by her father— who was on the phone talking to someone — without saying anything. "R-Really?... y-you found w-where they are?!" She quickly turned back, tears about to fall down.
He putted his phone down and wiped his tears then faced his daughter. "H-He said... he found... t-them" Haewon couldn't stop her tears anymore as she ran and hugged her father. "Y-You should get change, w-we'll go there" She quickly nodded and went to her bedroom to get changed.
She came back down running after changing. "L-Let's go Dad!" The both of them quickly went into their car and drove to the location.
~~~~~

"There" Their private investigator pointed on a small apartment. Once they reached the gates, Haewon couldn't express what she was really feeling, she's nervous and excited at the same time.

Nervous, that they might not be in there anymore and that they don't recognize her anymore.

Excited, that finally after 2 years she got to see her Mom and brother again.

"H-Hello?... anyone... h-home?" Her father called out and got no response back.

He called out again, but got the same result. "Excuse me? Are you looking for someone?" A woman who looks to be around late 20s asked.

"Ah yes, we're looking for a woman named Na Seohyun and her son, Kim Juwon who lives here" The private investigator said and pointed at the house.

"Ah, Seohyun unnie and Juwonnie? They left yesterday" She said and let out a sad smile. "Ah really?... by chance, do you know where they went?" He asked, dissapointment can be heard on his voice. Haewon and her father were just quiet, probably dissapointed too.

"Sorry but no— oh I'm late for work! I need to go now sorry!" They nodded, then she ran and passed them. "Sir... I am so sorry, I should've come here more early and we could have—"

Her father cut him off. "It's okay. Don't worry about it"

~~~~~
After that day, they were still continuing on finding them. But, they just can't be found.
Others said that they might be already dead, or they might have flew on a different country.
Again, they were starting to lose hope... but they're not giving up.
Until the day that Haewon had to leave their house came. She told herself that she needed to leave or it will make it hard for the both of them. Every time her father sees her, he just burst into tears remembering his wife.
And it's hard for her to see her father like that.
