~3 days later~
When I opened my eyes, I was momentarily blinded by how bright everything was. Ugh...why do I feel so dizzy? My eyes finally adjusted to the lighting and I looked around to noticed Inori and Kiji sitting on a couch nearby. Inori was reading a newspaper and Kiji was checking his make up. I quietly sat up and checked my surroundings, quickly realising that I was in the infirmary. But how did I...get here? I don't remember coming here at all. Did one of them brought me here for some reason? I heard paper rustling and turned my attention back towards the two guards and saw them staring at me.
Kiji immediately stood up and ran to my side. He sat on my bed, holding my hand gently as he asked me, "How are you feeling, Samon?" I didn't answer him right away and turned my gaze away...I wanted to answer, but my mind was a complete blank. I was so confused. What happened to me? How did I get here? 'What's going on? Why am I here?' Suddenly everything came at me all at once, the ordeal was overwhelming my head. My necklace shattering, everything turning red, the blaring alarms, the loud thunder...and then blood. So much blood. The flashes then stopped on someone with their back facing me. They were blurry for a minute before I caught the glimpse of white and red hair.
My eyes widen as I was consumed with panic and worry. "ANIKI?!? WHERE'S MY ANIKI?! HE COULDN'T HAVE KILLED THE INMATE, IT CAN'T BE POSSIBLE!!!" I yelled, frantically. Where is my older brother?! I know something must've happened to him!! But where is he? I want...no... I need to see him!! I looked over to Kiji to asked him if he what happened to him, but I stopped when I saw that he was me a saddened look. "Dear...Enki is... Enki has been locked away. Enki committed a serious crime and is now locked in solitary confinement. He's a murderer and you are not allowed to see him."
My eyes widened in shock and shook my head. "No, I need to see him!! He's my older brother!!" I yelled out. By then I started crying uncontrollably. The pain, that terrible feeling I had held in for the passed year hit me hard. I didn't want to believe it. I refuse to believe it. There's no way my Aniki could do something so horrible. I prayed that this was just bad dream. I was going to wake up at my desk and Aniki was going to scold me as he usually does. Right? Right..? I felt arms wrap around me and Kiji's fingers run through my hair, trying to comfort me. I felt so empty, so cold. My brother was gone...and now my world is completely shattered. I felt so alone...
We stayed like that for about an hour or so. When Kiji pulled away from me and he got up and went over to the couch, picking up a box that was resting beside Inori and came back handing it to me. I looked at it for a moment before I took it into my hands. I didn't bother opening it, I just held it there in my hands. "What is this...?" I asked, softly. "It's your new uniform. You've been promoted." I looked up at Kiji, whom the latter gave me a gentle smile. "Congratulations, Supervisor Gokuu." Kiji and Inori stayed to keep me company before eventually leaving me alone to change into my uniform.
I took the clothes out of the box and I noticed there was a card inside, so I grabbed it and opened it. 'Samon. I congratulate you on becoming the new supervisor of Building 5. I hope you like the new uniform, I designed it myself. Sincerely, Hyakushiki Momoko.' I smiled at the letter and gently set it back down. I picked up the dress and I was amazed by how beautiful it looked. It was black and white, and was styled as a Chinese cheongsam. The boots she gave me were shiny, red-camo boots with gold and green ornamentation.
I looked back inside the box and saw a pair of arm warmers that has two gold bands attached to it. I soon changed into my new clothes and I felt a little better despite everything that happened. I'm sure how I'll be handle to really handle it, but I have to...somehow. I looked in the mirror in the room and decided to let my hair out of the braid. I brushed my hair with my fingers and then decided to braid a small part of my hair.
