Nanba Prison. It's a place that holds some of the deadliest criminals. Its security is tighter than any other prison in the world, with many guards of different nationalities recruited combined with the latest technology; this gives it the world's highest-level security network, even saying that the famous Alcatraz possessed many flaws in comparison. It's said that no criminal has ever successfully escaped.
And here we are, somewhere in the middle of the sea in Japan, Aniki was recruited here and I decided to follow him. I'm surprised that I was able to get in as I heard it was just men in this prison, both inmates and guards. You wouldn't imagine how shocked I was when I found out the warden was a woman. Talk about unexpected. But at least I won't be the only woman in here. Not that would've bothered me in any way.
When the warden gave me permission to explore the prison, I was so happy and decided to go through every building. I was so amazed by all the different styles each building had a different culture style it was outstanding. Like each one was given its own personality and quirks. I have already went through Buildings 3 and 4, and my next stop was much further down.
I soon found myself was Building 13 and it definitely looked much more fierce and intimidating compared to the others. I walked down through hallway after hallway, occasionally getting several guards who were on their rounds or delivering some paperwork. I was so caught in taking everything in that I didn't notice that someone was near me till I crashed into them with enough force that we ended up falling on the ground...with me landed right on top of him. I quickly realise the situation and quickly got up, bowing at the waist.
"I'm so sorry!!" I said frantically. Great! What a way to make a first good impression! Way a go, me! I really hope this guy would be nice enough to spare me the embarrassment. "Geez! Look where you're going will ya, you brat." He said, with much attitude. Okay...what?! An imaginary tick mark appeared on my head as I looked up at the man who I had bumped into. He was a bald man with dark red eyes and wore the standard Nanba Prison guard uniform, which consists of a black jacket with a white shirt and red tie; knee high black boots with red soles, a red belt with a gold buckle, white gloves, and a guard cap with the Nanba insignia and gold cording. The Nanba Prison uniform also includes a red armband with the number 13. Golden shoulder adornments, and gold bars on the collar of his shirt. Each sleeve of his jacket has a single yellow line.
What caught my attention straight away was the cross shaped scar over his left eye. The more I looked at it, the more it seemed so strangely familiar. As if I had seen that scar before, but I don't...remember when exactly.
My train of thought were broken when this guy said, "Hey brat, you're in the way. Move it, I'm in a hurry." He said to me as I glared up at him. "Hey listen, you big gorilla! My name isn't 'You' and it isn't 'brat' either. My name's Samon Gokuu. You hear me! SAMON GOKUU" I said my name slowly and with emphasis. He rolled his eyes and glared at me. His eyes seemed to have shifted somewhere and then they seemed to have focused on what's behind me. I was a little confused as to what he was looking and was about to turn myself when he walked past me and told me, "Go back to your own building, you damn monkey." After saying that he made a turn and was fully gone.
From there, I lost it.
".....THAT DAMN JERK!!! WHO THE HELL DOES HE THINK HE IS....THAT....URGH!!! IT'S MY FIRST DAY AND I ALREADY HATE HIM!!" I yelled out to no one in particular. "That, my dear girl, is Hajime Sugoroku" I yelled in surprised and probably jumped five feet in the air. I looked to the side and saw a man with a dark skin complexion and black hair. A red tattoo covers parts of his chest and his face as well as several piercings that decorates his ears and the left side of his lip. He wears the standard Nanba Prison guard uniform but with minor changes compared to the usual attire, which consists of a black jacket with two gold line on each sleeve, a white shirt but instead of a red tie he leaves the shirt open, revealing parts of his chest and a golden necklace. The uniform also includes sunglasses, a yellow armband, red fingerless gloves, a green belt with a gold buckle, knee high camouflage colored boots with red soles and a guard cap with a microphone insignia on it.
