Luke's pov
Calum's 11 years and Luke's 10 years

"Hey I know!" I looked at Calum waiting for him to continue talking.

"I have to feel an emotion strongly." I looked at him confused and then looked down at the blue car in my hands.

"How do you mean?" I asked confused. He took the car from my hands and put it back in the drawer by his bed.

"I just remembered the door who unlocked itself! I was angry at myself because I made you cry. And I was sad and scared too. I felt so much emotions and the emotions so strongly, I didn't think about what I did. I wanted you to stop crying so bad and comfort you. Therefore I unlocked the door without knowing that I did!" I smiled at him. He cared so much of me.

"Okay. So how are we supposed to make you feel an emotion strongly?" I asked, while trying to figure out ways to make Calum very upset.

"Well maybe it works with any emotion and in that case, I just have to get really happy." He said quietly, sounding like he was in deep thoughts. I pouted my lips, but nodded.

"Tickle fight!" I shouted out of no where and jumped on Calum, trying to get my fingers between his ribs.

"Stop it." Calum laughed and tried to push me away. I quickly put his arms against his body. As I sat on his stomach with his arms stuck against his body, by my legs, I continued tickling him. He kicked and tried to squrim his way out. I giggled and saw tears beginning to form in Calums eyes as he struggled to breath inbetween the laughing. Out of nowhere I was pushed away by a hard wind. I flew off Calum and onto the floor behind me.

"Are you alright?" Calum quickly stopped laughing and crawled to me. I nodded looking up at him. He wiped away the tears with his sleeve and tried to catch his breath.

"It worked." I said happily. Calum realized and smiled widely. I sat up and hugged him tight. When I went out of the hug I realized that both me and Calum were hovering above the ground. But as soon as I let go off Calum I fell down onto the floor. Calum quickly realized too and stopped.

"Right. So we have figured out how to make you do stuff, now we have to figure out how to control it." I said to Calum. With a nod from Calum as he agreed. Calum looked down on the floor in front of him sad. Then a gray cloud appeared above his head.

"Well now it works a bit too well." I said quietly as I looked at the cloud above Calum's head, turn a darker shade of gray.

"I don't know how to control it. Luke I'm scared." Calum said frustrated and scared. He jumped into my lap, with the gray cloud following him. He looked up and stared at the cloud. If Calum's power is controlled by emotions it is stopped by no emotions.. isn't it? But what's no emotions? You always feel an emotion.. don't you? Maybe if he switched to another emotion it would work. But then he would just use his power in a different way. Is there something as neutral?

"Calum." I said still thinking. Calum looked at me curiously, but worried.

"Is there something that's a neutral emotion?" Calum looked around his bedroom while thinking. After some time he shrugged and shook his head.

"I can't think of anything." Calum said quietly. I looked at him, then at the cloud above his head worryingly. Well it's better if he tries to feel happy. Nothing bad will happen when he feels happy right? I looked at Calum who had a troubling face. Would anger be terrible? What is he able to do?

"Calum what makes you happy?" I asked. Calum looked at me confused. I quickly glanced at the cloud who was a bit lighter than before. I hugged Calum close to me while I kept my gaze on the cloud. The cloud yet again seemed to turn a bit lighter, but I could have seen wrong.

"I don't know, should I? Maybe ice cream and video games." Calum said worryingly. And looked at me who wasn't really paying any attention to him.

"Luke?" Calum asked again while staring at me who looked past Calum like he wasn't even here.

"Are you alright?" Calum asked me. I snapped out of my thoughts and nodded at Calum smiling. Calum gave me a weird look, I just smiled widely at him. I knew what to do, but I was extremely scared on the inside. It could go very wrong and Calum could get angry. God knows what would happen then. But if I'm extremely, incredibly lucky he won't get mad or even more worried than he already is.

"Dang it Luke, just do it already." I whispered to myself. Calum looked at me confused as he heard what I whispered.

"Don't hate me." I said, now it was my turn to feel worried.

"Hate you for what?" Calum asked confused. I put my hand on his back and quickly leaned in, to press my lips on his. He froze, in that moment I thought my life was over, until he kissed me back softly. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing, but I was pretty sure I liked it. His lips was warm and soft. It felt like I had electricity running through my body. When I backed away from the kiss, my whole face was bright red out of embarrassment and nervousness. I bit my lip nervously as I hugged Calum tight. I didn't want him to get up and tell me to go home. Calum's bedroom quickly turned quiet. I didn't dare to look at him, too scared to see his reaction and meet his emotions. Wait. Emotions. Nothing happened. Calum's powers should have done something, if Calum felt an emotion strongly. My curiosity took over and I quickly looked up at Calum. Calum looked surprised, and not much else. He looked a bit lost. He stared into the floor.

I looked around. Nothing. I looked up, the cloud that had been above Calum's head was gone. I smiled proudly.

"Calum? Nothing happened. It worked." Calum snapped out of the transition and looked at me confused.

"Hm?" I looked at him weirdly.

"Your powers didn't do anything." I said as I looked around the room again.

"Oh yeah." Calum nodded slowly. Like he was still thinking about something.

"Well almost nothing happened." He said quietly. I looked at him confused, and he looked back at me with a confused look too.

"You didn't notice?" Calum asked worryingly. I shook my head looking around the room for the third time, still not seeing anything unusual.

"Look a bit closer." Calum said, even though I just had my first kiss, I have seen quite some graphics images in my time, thanks to the internet. So without thinking my eyes went straight to his crouch.

"No idiot." He said and took my hand. My whole hand got covered in what looked like electricity, that was green. And Calum's hand got covered with blue electricity. Sparks of blue and green made a buzzing noise, as the sparks hit each other. Scared, I quickly pulled my hand back and hugged it into my chest. My eyes wide open while staring at my own hand.
