Luke's pov:

"What happened?" I questioned Calum.

"I don't know. I understand anything of this." Calum said frustrated and stood up. He walked over to his bed and sat down. I bit my lip nervously.

"Are we gonna pretend like the kiss didn't happen?" I asked quietly, scared of what his answer was. Calum sighed and shook his head.

"No. It's just a lot to take in." I nodded slowly, understanding where he came from with that. The room got quiet once again as we sat in silence and stared at each other, from across the room.

"LUKE I'M GOING HOME NOW!" Liz shouted. Me and Calum walked to the front door, where Liz and Calum's mom stood waiting in silence.

"Aren't you gonna stay?" Calum asked quietly. I looked at Calum who looked extremely nervous. I was about to hug him, but got reminded about the electricity that happened last time and smiled instead.

"Yes I am. I'm just saying goodbye." I said and turned back to my mum. I gave her a hug and she kissed my cheek, saying goodnight and goodbye. Then she left.

"You want something to eat boys?" My mum asked. We both shook our heads and ran up into my room again. Closing the door and locking it. Calum's mum must have thought something was weird, because not even a minute after Calum had locked the door she knocked on the door.

What are you up to boys?" She said, sounding curious.

"Um, drinking water of course. You know how important it is staying hydrated." Calum said trying to sound convincing. Right after Calum had finished the sentence he picked up one of the bottles and chucked the water down as fast as he could. The handle on the door went down a couple of times as joy tried to come in.

"Why is the door locked? Let me in Calum Hood." Joy said sounding quite stern. I quickly took a bottle of water and chucked the water down as fast as I could, as Calum walked to the door and unlocked it. Joy opened the door and I stopped drinking from the bottle, which was nearly empty now.

"Why did you lock the door?" Joy asked and looked at the four bottles of water.

"Why not?" Calum asked. Joy looked at Calum and shook her head. But then smiled and walked into the room.

"Boys it's very good that you want to keep hydrated, but if you drink these four bottles of water you'll get sick." Joy said looking at us like we were stupid. We both nodded, understanding.

"You can take some of them." Calum said. Joy nodded and took two of them and walked out. Calum closed the door but left it unlocked this time.

"Well that was unexpected." Calum said, breathing out. I looked at him in disbelief.

"You thought that was unexpected? After everything that has happened this evening?" I said and shook my head, not getting how his brain works.

"Oh yeah." Calum said like he had forgotten. I laughed at him and threw a sock at him, that laid next to me on the floor. He caught the sock in his hands and stared at it, as he stopped laughing. I stood up and walked over to him. I looked at the sock and then to him.

"Didn't know a sock could be so interesting." I said. Calum looked at me and rolled his eyes, which only made me giggle.

"You know sometimes I wish you were more brain than face." He said smiling at his own comment. I stopped giggling and just shook my head at him, disappointed.

"But I like your brain, so even though you might have less than a brain than most people, I unfortunately kind of like that." He said looking concentrated as he spoke. I looked at him confused. What did any of that even mean? I thought to myself.

"What I'm trying to say is even though there's way too much stuff happening right now. I didn't exactly hate the kiss." He said and smiled. I looked at him surprised as I felt everything in my brain stop working.

"Oh." Was all that I could say while I tried to restart my brain and make it work again.

"That sounded so cheesy." He said and blushed. I laughed and nodded as I felt everything come together again in my brain.

"Are we too young to be boyfriends?" I asked quietly after a while of thinking. Calum shrugged.

"I just doesn't want it to end and be heartbroken. That happened to Melissa a year above us and she still haven't shown up at school." I said worryingly. Calum took my hand and both of our hands glowed up with electricity again. But it was different this time, because I didn't get scared. Somehow I felt kind of safe, and I have no idea how.

"Luke, you can't go your whole life being worried to get your heart broken. Then you will go your whole life alone. And maybe your right, we might be too young. But I still kind of want to try this, if you're willing to. Besides if this happened to everyone I kissed it would happen to my mum too, wouldn't it?" Calum said and held up his and Luke's hands in between his and Luke's faces. Hoping Luke would at least want to try. He felt a warm feeling in his stomach when they kissed and he's never felt that before. Luke smiled at Calum nervously, but nodded.

"Alright. I'm kind of hungry though." I said, feeling my stomach growling for food. Calum laughed and nodded. Out of nowhere he kissed me again. I was taken back by it but quickly kissed back. It felt like it tickled inside of my stomach but it was a warm feeling and I already had started to like it quite a lot. Calum backed away from the kiss and smiled at me.

"Let's eat, shall we?" He said happily. I nodded. Calum stood up and ran to the door. Or well I think he thought he did.

"Uh Calum?" I said while looking at Calum's feet floating above the floor, then back to Calum who looked at me.

"Yeah?" He said oblivious to what was happening. I looked down at his feet again as I could feel him following my gaze.

"Oh." He said as he noticed and put himself back on the floor. I smiled at him nervously and walked out the door. This is going to be interesting.
