Calum's pov
Calum 11 years and Luke 10 years

"Luke!" I yelled and jumped onto him as he came through the front door. He giggled as he hugged me back. Even though it had only been a week since we saw each other I had been extremely bored by myself.

"Come on." I said happily, as I ran to my room with Luke close behind me.

"How's school?" Luke asked me sitting down on my new blue carpet. I sat down, facing him and shrugged my shoulders.

"Not fun without you." I said smiling sadly. He nodded agreeing. After Luke had to move to a school closer to his home we didn't see each other as much anymore. Well we still saw each other every week, but it's different from before when we met everyday.

"Um... So I have something incredible to show you. But well don't tell anyone, okay?" I said with a serious tone and looked deeply into Luke's eyes. He stared back, confused. But after a moment he nodded.

"Okay, what is it?" He said waiting for me to show him. I got up and opened my door, peeking out. My mum and Luke's mum was talking in the kitchen. I closed the door as quietly as I could and locking it. Luke looked even more confused now.

"Calum?" Luke asked me, questioning why I locked the door. I put my finger over my mouth, to show him he had to be quiet. I looked down at my feet and suddenly I was floating above the floor. To me, it felt stable and fine. But it probably didn't look so stable or fine. Luke's eyes widened and his mouth opened but no sound came. He stared at my feet unbelievable. After a moment he crawled forwards and put his hands under my feet to feel if something was there, but his hand hit nothing.

"How?!" He yelled when he started to take it in. I giggled at his face expressions and looked on the spot in front of me. Suddenly I moved still floating above the floor. Then I put myself down again.

"How?" He asked again when he had taken it all in. I shrugged my shoulders.

"No idea. I just look and think and it happens. I have been too scared to try anything else though." I said happy but still a bit scared. He smiled at me brightly.

"This is truly a gift. Hey, try and take me with you!" He said with excitement in his eyes. I looked at him confused, how would I do that? I hugged him close and looked up. And not even a second later we were floating above the floor together.

"This is awesome!" He laughed and looked around in amazement. I giggled happily when I saw how happy I made him. I put us down again and he whined. I ignored him and walked to the drawer by my bed.

"Do you remember this?" I asked him and showed him the blue car. He looked confused at me and then the car, shaking his head.

"What does an old toy car have to do with this?" He said confused. I shook my head at the memory.

"I turned the car from red to blue, and got scared of what happened. It was last year, it was that time I locked myself in the bathroom." I said and he took the car from my hand looking at it intensely.

"Have you tried it again?" He asked curious. I only shook my head as answer. He had a pout on his lips and put his head sideways.

"Why is that?" He asked, I just looked at him.

"I'm scared." I said quietly.

"Of what?" He asked again. I looked at him like he was stupid. Cause right now he was in my opinion.

"Well because it's not really something that usually happen to people. I have no idea how to control it completely. Also what if I accidentally hurt someone. I'm not an expert in this." I said frustrated. He nodded slowly, thinking.

"I will help you. Let's take it slow. We can fill up some bottles with water, just in case you put something on fire." He said calmly.

"How are you so calm about this?" I asked him. He stared at me and shrugged his shoulders.

"Honestly, I have absolutely no idea." He answered, shocked at his own feelings. I stared at him, for a while my room got extremely quiet.

"Let's go then." I said breaking the silence. He nodded eagerly and unlocked my door.

"But Luke, don't tell anyone." I said stopping him before he walked outside my room. He nodded, turning to me.

"I promise." He said. I nodded and we walked into the kitchen and took some bottles, and started to fill them with water, in the sink.

"Um.. Boys what are you doing with all that water?" Liz asked, Luke's mum. We both stopped and I quickly thought of something.

"We are going to drink it of course. Right Luke?" I lied. Everyone turned to look at Luke, but Luke looked at me nervously. He sucked at lying and I knew that.

"Erm.. Yeah." He said quietly. Liz looked suspiciously at us.

"Well if you are going to drink out of those you should probably clean them first." Joy, my mum pointed out. I looked back at the bottles and nodded pouring out the water, cleaning them with soap. Or at least tried to.

"Here Calum, I will do it." Mum said and I nodded, passing over the bottles to mum. A minute later me and Luke sat on my carpet facing each their, with four bottles full of water on the floor in between us.

"So how do we do this?" Luke asked me, and I shrugged my shoulders a bit nervous. Luke stretched over to the bed and picked up the blue car, then showing it to me.

"Well how did you do this? What did you feel?" I thought about it, and to be honest I'm not sure. I can't remember what I felt or how exactly it happened. There's no way I can remember what I thought of before it happened. I looked at Luke nervously and shrugged my shoulders. He looked down at the car in his hands, disappointed.
