The end of the day soon rolled around, the boys all met up outside of the school gates to wait for the bus. Rami had the sheer genius idea to warm his hands using a lighter, which inevitably ended in tears as he managed to blister his hands.

Joe strolled up to the group rolling his eyes at a whining Rami.
"How'd it go with Lucy, Rami" Joe half yelled to which Rami groaned again leaning on Gwilyms shoulder.
"Aah, not so good then" Joe shrugged laughing slightly before meeting eyes with a slightly awkward looking Ben.

"What's up with you Ben? You look as though you've shit yourself"
Ben just looked up laughing slightly and shuffling his feet before looking back down at the floor.

The rest of the group could sense the tension, Joe looked at Gwilym and was met again with one of his award winning glares.

If truth be told, Ben was still hung up on lunchtime. It all felt like a blur. Although he couldn't quite remember anything but the flirty look in Joe's eye and the sensation left behind in his pants. He couldn't quite comprehend what happened. And out of nowhere? One minute Joe was curled on the floor and the next he was grinding on Ben like a whore in a nightclub.
Joe didn't come across the Ben as the fuckboy type. He came across as the shy, tiny redhead who was strangely enough always equipped with a lighter or matches. He didn't quite know what to make of the lunchtime incident. Could it have just been a one off, a mistake caused by the strange effects of marijuana.
Soon enough Ben snapped back into reality and noticed the bus was here. He flicked his cigarette to the floor and nudged the other three boys making them aware of the bus.

Ben was finding it hard to concentrate on the conversation as he was again preoccupied on what happened earlier that day. Was it just a fluke or was there something there? The thought frustrated him. As much as he hated to admit, he didn't mind the idea of Joe and him, even if it was a casual fling.

In fact the whole "casual" thing would probably work best for Ben, given his past relationships and issues. Ben now found it hard to trust the way he did before. Even if he did, he could never fully let go

He was being ridiculous. Thinking too much into things again. It was just one tiny event. Soon enough he snapped back into the conversation. He wasn't sure what they were laughing at but he laughed along anyway to avoid suspicion. After the laughter stopped, Ben noticed Joe as he winked in his direction.

Ben quickly looked away. Luckily the bus was rolling up to their stop. Ben kept his head down and hurried off the bus, waving a quick goodbye to the others.

Joe smiled to himself. His plan was working. Slinging his battered rucksack over his shoulder and placing a hand in the pocket of his faded black skinny jeans he hopped off the bus with a slight strut in his step. Much to Gwilym's upset, Joe had found his next "victim"

Joe made it home cockily slamming the door behind him with a ridiculous smirk on his face. He set his bag down and rushed upstairs to change into some sweats and a baggy t-shirt. Comfy enough to cook in.

He connected his phone the the speakers, blasted his playlist and got to cooking some pasta. His Dad was away for the next 4 months on business, meaning a free house for Joe.
The only downside was his lack of cooking experience. The next 4 months would consist of Pasta, cheese toasties and dominoes pizza. Not that he could complain.

Joe grew impatient with the water in the pan. No matter how high he turned up the cooker the water would not boil.

He pulled out his phone bringing up Rami's contact. He knew he shouldn't do this but he was bored. He needed someone to mess with.

"Hey man, don't suppose you got the new kid's snapchat today?"

Aaaand sent. Joe waited for a reply
And waited for the pasta to boil
