The car honked and we screamed. Just then, Charlie turned the car just in time for it it zoom past us then the big rig came. I grabbed onto Charlie's hand and cried. It the truck tried to turn but it plowed into the side of the car. I woke up in the hospital with the biggest head ache of my life. I pressed the nurse button on the side of my bed and a nurse in her late 30 came rushing in. I smiled at her and asked her how long I've been in here. "4 years." she said quietly. "What..??"i asked on the verge of crying. "I'm just kidding. 2 days." she did laughing. "Is Charlie ok?!" I asked her. "She hasn't woken up yet..." The nurse said, "Do you need anything?" "Can I have my phone?" I asked her before she brought over a bag,"Thanks." My phone was cracked pretty bad. I don't even know if it will work. I turned on my phone with only 10% left.
