Michelle sat in her room staring down at her phone in deep thought. She was pondering what to do about Peter.

"DAD!" called out Michelle to the house at large. Within moments her bedroom door opened and her father walked in with a smile on his face.

He was a tall, muscular African American man with a bald head and black goatee flecked with gray hair.

"Hey baby girl what's up?" he asked while sitting down next to his daughter on her bed.

"Dad, my friend Peter, the one who lost his Aunt. Well someone was insensitive enough to make light of the fact that he has no family members left," said Michelle and her father's eyes became stern.

"I remember Peter from the funeral, poor kid, but he's with Tony Stark now so he should be okay," said her father thoughtfully.

"Well I was planning on meeting up with him and try to make him feel better but I have no idea what to even do or where to go," explained Michelle with deep concern.

"The movies, take him there and maybe get a bite to eat as well. Sometimes just being there is enough, but I'm gonna give you some advice," says her dad as he strokes her hair.

"Sometimes when people are in grief their emotions aren't all there, just be careful not to say or do anything to tip him over the edge," he added sagely. His daughter nodded in response to his words.

"Thanks Dad," she said giving him a big cuddle.

"This Peter guy, you like him don't you?" he asked as the hugged. She pulled away from him with a red face.

"What!? NO I uh," stammered Michelle in response to her father's question.

"MJ I have had the pleasure to watch you grow up, I know you like him. You'd never take anyone out anywhere if it was anyone else in your class," added her father with a smug look.

"Was I that obvious," asked Michelle awkwardly. Her father simply nodded.

"But hey I approve of Peter so go for it," was his response as he got up and left the room.
