Chasing a Scar

Prologue

Chase's P. O. V

I ran to go kick the soccer ball towards the goal hoping that one of my teammates were to pick it up and score the goal when I tripped over Marshall I saw my fake fur that was there to cover my eye scar off. Everyone stopped when this happened and they looked at me. I had three claw marks going right over my right eye No one knew about why I had that scar. I had even managed to keep it a secret from Ryder until now.

"Chase, where'd you get that from, even though it makes you look really tough and intimidating," Marshall asked all of the pups agreed with his second statement, I could only laugh to myself. I really didn't want to tell my past to the pups, but knowing even Ryder would have a question, I 'll let all of the question's roll in before I start telling my story.

"Chase, how long have you had the scar," Skye asked obviously concerned for me and my health.

"Do you have something to tell us about your past," Ryder asked looking at me. I could only shake my head up and down. I never wanted to tell this story to anyone until they were older to understand me. As young as I sound I have a dark past, and is the big reason why I'm the pup I am today, I wanted to become a better pup than I was a long time ago and it inspired me to become a police pup. I had been with the Paw Patrol for more than a few years now. I knew I had to tell them the story, there was no way around it.

"Pups, I'm going to tell my story, but I'm going to let you know right now, that there will probably be stuff you don't want to ever see in my past," I told them.

"That's okay Chase were your family, we'll support you, no matter what," Rubble said. He was to innocent to know what I've been through.

Author's Note: I know an origin story like you haven't seen a hundred of these on sites.
