All of them were talking. Ayona was telling them stories about her work, and how she do it.
"No seriously. I had to pretend dating my brother to avoid him. He was crazy. At one point of time I was considering killing him." Ayona says. Then she looks at Sakshi and says
"Stop grinding your teeth so much. Gir jaega tutke. You think I'm behaving like I own the place. And getting things I don't deserve."
Sakshi looked startled at her direct confrontation. Everyone were looking at her, Shree with annoyance, chhotu and Sameer with confusion and Liza with sympathy.
"But Sakshi you are not worried about I'm getting things I don't deserve, but things that you consider yours. Stop yourself because you won't like it if I do it for you." Ayona says.
"No there is nothing like this. I wasn't thinking about it." Sakshi says.
Ayona laughs tauntingly and says
"You can't lie. Coz I can sense it from miles."
"Like mind reading?" Chhotu asks
"Nonsense Chhotu. Rawte is sleeping for hours now. Your technique worked." Sameer says.
"Yah and from hours I remember that i haven't eaten in 27 hours. and yesYes I can Chhotu. Like you are thinking about you can show me food places but then you thought I won't eat those places. But don't worry I'll eat with you there. I love food and best food are always found on street." Ayona says.
"WOW...."
"What I'm thinking?" Liza says
"You think if they could ever understand your silence. And one more thing, don't ever think about your deepest darkest secret Infront of a mind-reader." Liza looked embarrassed.
            Everyone were asking all the different kind of questions and were being shocked as they were getting almost correct answers.
"Ayona how can you read someone's mind?" Chhotu asked.
"It's not only me Chhotu there are several people who can do this. You need extra ordinary ability to noticing things. Little details. People give information about themselves all the time." Ayona explain.
"So can I do it?" Shree asked.
"Ofcourse. You can try. But it will take time to master." Ayona
"Have you met anyone who can read you?"Liza asked.
"No. Coz I'm little complicated to read. You can try. I'll keep my guards down." She said and look directly at everyone.
Sameer smiled at them before returning to his files.
"You are thinking Rathore is too hot to be a cop." Arjun said from the door.
Ayona jumped with fright. Everyone looked at arjun,sameer and Ayona. Ayona looked embarrassed. Sameer was shocked and was blushing. He was lokoking in between Ayona and Arjun.
"Arry it's cheating. I was not expecting you." Ayona complained.
"That's it. Are not you gonna complain that it's not true." Sakshi said.
"Why would I? It's true." Ayona said simply.
Sameer looked even flushed.
"Sorry chief. I don't lie when it's not necessary."Ayona said to Sameer then looked at everyone to say"he is too hot to be a cop. He should have been a actor or something."
"Thank you Ayona. We were about to go for a bite before you arrive Rawte. Are you joining us?" Sameer said to avoid further discussion on that topic.
"Sure. Let's go." Arjun said.
"And we all travel together."Ayona said.
              Arjun said to everyone to wait for him and went away to bring his SUV. All were talking when he arrived. Ayona opens the front door to sit with Arjun but Sakshi beat her to it. She sat and said
"Thanks Ayona." Like she was holding the door open for her.
Everyone seemed really annoyed at that. Mostly Arjun. But Ayona smiled. Shree, Chhotu and Liza were already at the middle seat. Leaving only Ayona and Sameer.
"You sit here sir. Me and Chhotu will take the back seat."Shree said.
"It's ok Shree. Come Ayona." Sameer said opening the door for her.
"Thank you Sameer."Ayona said with a smile that made his heart flutter.
              They started the ride as their conversation resumed. Sakshi had a feeling that she defeated Ayona and show her that this team is more her than Ayona's. She knows everyone for more amount of time. But when the ride started all these thoughts vanished. As Ayona controls the whole conversation even when she was not saying anything. Sameer was talking but was felt like she was regulating what was happening. Arjun not once looked at Sakshi. He was looking at Ayona through the rear view mirror. Ayona says one line that made Sakshi realize that she accepted her challenge.
"Arry look at the roads. Your whole concentration is here." Ayona says.
"Because you are there. " Arjun says.
"I know I will get this reaction even if I'm at any corner of earth. Avi to bas Kuch kadam ke duri pe hun." Ayona says.
(Now I'm just some steps away)
"So Ayona tell us something about your family?" Liza asked to ease the tension.
"No one alive, except this guy. And it's easy not to have a family when you are in this part of system." Ayona said.
"I'm sorry." Liza said feeling genuinely sorry.
"Oh no. We are proud of their death. Dad and Bhai(elder brother) were in army. Dad passed away while fighting with militants in Kashmir. And Bhai was posted on borders, there was a surprise attack while ceasefire. Mom could not bear this pain." Ayona said.
"Arry did her last rituals. I wasn't there."
Arjun stopped the car and said
"We are here."
"It's the same beach restaurant right.. Sam and your favorite?" Ayona asked looking from the car window.
           They all went to the front desk. A guy welcomed them. Shree and Liza were first one. When they all reached at  them saw they both were frowning. Ayona asked
"What happened?"
"They are saying the place is booked for a birthday party but party is at the hall and we can eat at the sea facing place. but I don't think he will agree." Shree explained. Ayona smiled and said
"Leave him to me. Liza come with me." They went to the front desk.
"Hi Mihir. can we have a sea facing table for 7 please?" Ayona said. The attendant was shocked.
"Ofcourse mam. How do you know my name? I don't recall meeting you. I would never forget such a face like yours." He said.
"I have my sources. Please Yar Mihir jaldi karna. Bohat bhukh lagi hai." Ayona said.
(Please Mihir my friend can you do it faster please. We are really very hungry.)
"In a minute mam. Come with me." He said before showing them the table.
Ayona winked at everyone. They all smiled and took their places. And ordered their food. While eating silently suddenly Ayona asked
"Arry is sam married?" Sameer chocked on what he was eating. Arjun smiled before saying
"No."
"Is he committed?"
"No"
"Is he hot?"
Now everyone had interesting expressions. Shree and Chhotu were excited. Liza was amused. Sakshi was shocked that Arjun didn't asked her to shut up yet. While taking seats Arjun pulled the chair for Ayona but she refused and asked Sakshi to sit with Arjun as she was saying do whatever you want but Arjun's whole attention will be on her. And that was happening and it was pissing her up. Sameer was flushed and confused.
"Yes" Arjun says.
"How?" Ayona asked.
"What?" Arjun asked confused.
"On the scale of Shree to you." She replied.
"Hy..."Shree said with a pout.
"You are too cute to be hot."Ayona said to Shree while riffling his hair.
"Well I will say Rathore" Arjun said looking at Sameer.
"Wow that out of league Han??" Ayona most likely said to herself.
"Why did you ask?" Arjun
"Kuch nai soch rahi thi apke Sam se shadi kar lun. Apki first priority to ban na saki sayad unki ban jau." Ayona said easily. Shocking everyone even Sameer.
(Nothing just thinking to marry him, as I was never your first priority, atleast I can be the first priority to your first priority.)
