Nicole.

"Nicole Black..." echoed his voice as the darkness squeezed itself around me, attempting to smother every ounce of life out of me. "...you won't win..."

"No..." I whimpered, suddenly felt some type of sharp, dry vine type object wrap itself around my wrists and ankles. "...what the Fuck?!"

"Nicole..." came an unfamiliar female voice, this caused my eyes to snap out...

My eyes snapped and a face was nose to nose with me.

She was older, not super old, but she had the same eyes as Amy.

I blinked and she was gone.

I sat up in bed and scanned the room to see Amy and Elena still asleep, with a glance at the window to give me a time frame in my head, I realized the sun was just barely beginning to rise.

My eyes dropped to the floor, and my book bag - as predicted - was gone!

I rolled my eyes and slide out the parchments that I had hidden in my pillowcase, which caused Amy and Elena to stir int heir beds.

"Guys, go back to sleep," I whispered, as they both shook their heads.

"Bookbag's gone, isn't it?" asked Amy sitting up and rubbing her eyes.

"How'd you know?" I shot over to her as I unrolled the first of the four we found, across the bottom of my bed.

"Why would you have woken up so early to look over those parchments?" Elena yawned as she pulled her blanket around her shivering body and made a hood over her head. She slid down to the bottom of her bed to get a better look at the parchments.

Amy just sat there and peered over the edge of her bed.

"Elena, this one is yours..." I stated, scanning over the parchment. "...it's not even the prophecy, it looks more like a warning..."

"A warning?" Elena rose an eyebrow.

"Beware of those you hold close," I started, flickering my eyes up at her expression, as it dropped. "fore there is a snake in your garden of roses..."

"That's it?" Elena whimpered, lunging off her bed to get a closer look. "Wait, this looks like Blaise's writing."

"You don't think he sat there and wrote out a warning for each of us and then set the place on fire, do you?" Amy rose an eyebrow and crossed her arms. "That doesn't make sense."

"No, it doesn't." I agreed, shooting my eyes from the parchment to Amy then up to Elena.

"Well, it's plausible," Elena stated, pulling her parchment off my bed as I slide Amy's open next.

"What does mine say?"Amy questioned, playing with some hair off her shoulder.

I cleared my throat as my eyes scanned over the words before me. "What seems to be, isn't what it is. The missing pieces of your heart will soon be healed back into place."

I slide the parchment off my bed and held it in her direction. She hesitated, but pulled it over to her and reread it.

"Maybe it's Ronald." smiled Elena, rolling up her parchment and sliding it into her jacket pocket, and with a wave of her wand it was as if she had nothing in her pocket - safely hidden.

"Maybe." Amy slowly nodded, she did the same as Elena.

I pulled my parchment out, along with the fourth one, but placed the last one horizontally on my pillow. I stretched out the one that we all assumed was for me, which we were right - my name was written in cursive at the top of it and I read mine out loud as I did theirs.
