Elena.

I stood there.

Taking in all the black and white roses on top of her coffin.

Taking in the few sadden faces that sat in the crowd.

Taking in all the empty chairs that stood motionless.

"Why are there so many empty chairs?" I asked, looking over at Amy as a few other's filed in and thats when our hearts sank.

Ella walked in, Will and Jake followed.

"Come on..." whispered Amy, taking my hand and we walked to the entry way to greet them. "...hey guys, thanks for coming."

"Did you guys put this together?" Jake asked, pulling each of us into a hug.

"Yeah, Draco and Blasie funded most of it though." I explained, pulling Will into a tight hug. "How are you holding up?"

"Okay." He stated silently.

"He's not." Jake mouthed as they lead Ella to a seat in the front row beside the Minister of Magic and the Weasleys.

"Guess we should start..." Amy started, but I caught her arm. "...what?"

"Blasie isn't here..." I pointed out.

"Is he even coming...or would this be too much for him?" Amy asked, looking over my shoulder.

"I'm not sure..." I groaned, starring at the doorway.

"Lets start, if he walks in he walks in...we need to get this over with.." Amy growled and I winked over at her for moment of brief bliss.

"Those hormones getting to you already?" I giggled as Amy glowed with a giggle in responce.

Our smiles fell in unison.

"Yeah, let's start..." I said quietly as we nodded at the preacher.

As he began the funeral, Amy and I held hands and consulted each other as we began to break. Before we knew it was time for us to give our speeches.

"You can go first..." I patted her shoulder, and rose with her. "...I'll go with you..."

We moved to the front of the little crowd and Amy cleared her throat and glanced over at me as I took her hand behind the podium.

"Nicole," Amy hesitated and frowned down to her left over to the casket. "I hate you for leaving, but I love you for staying." Amy began to choke up a little as she began to panic a little. "You were always here to straighten me back up when I start to crumble."

I felt my throat begin to close as those words sat beautifully over the room.

"We have been through hell and back, you and me and Elena." Amy whimpered, pretending to fumble with her paper for a moment.

I cleared my throat and tightened my grip on her hand as I stood tall with her.

"Nicole, you were the best damn person I've ever known. You helped me find the courage to get the man of my dreams...you helped me find the best people I could have ever met. You were the reason we all survived. You saved each and every single one of us..."

"...only to be taken out by a sorry excuse of a Deatheater." Amy added, shaking her head. "You were gone too soon..."

"...we never even got to say goodbye..." I choked out, feeling the tears stream down my face.

"So with saying that..." Amy stated, as she and I moved to the center of the room, right behind Nicole's coffin.

We undid our necklaces and glanced at each other and undid them in unison only for a light breeze to carry through the room and as the lids left the jars, a flaky sparkling green, almost steam, rose from my jar and a flaky sparking red rose from Amys as Nicole's voice rang around a room, for the last time;
