Your POV
The rain pounded against the surfaces outside, as I laid wrapped in my boyfriend's strong arms. I couldn't sleep and it was way past 2 am but somehow the rain was peaceful to me. At night my thoughts always would run wild and my brain would go crazy.
Jesse would usually be awake to settle me but he had fallen asleep hours ago. The mix of the pitter-patter of the rain and the light snore of my boyfriend soothed me. I rolled over to face Jesse and as I did he stirred slightly.
"Shh baby it's ok go back to sleep" I whispered as he rubbed his eyes and looked at me.
"Y/N...Why are you awake?" He whispered.
"I just couldn't sleep you know how it is." I smiled, "But it's ok come on go back to sleep."
"No doll look come on." He pulled closer so our bodied almost became one, "There we go that's much better. Don't you think?"
"Being closer to you makes me so much calmer." I yawned and smiled slightly, "I love you"
"I love you too Y/N." Jesse grinned, pecking me on the lips and playing with my hair.
He knew exactly how to comfort me and make me fall asleep.
