20 minutes or so later, in between taking phone calls and answering emails, Beth and Kelly had a few minutes of their own on the balcony overlooking the sea
KELLY: Are you feeling any better?
They put their arms around each other
BETH: My stomachs not as sore, and the bleeding has stopped too
He kissed her
KELLY: I love you
She had tears in her eyes
BETH: I love you too
KELLY: Hey, we'll get through this
BETH: I know. You need to phone your mum Kelly
KELLY: I'll do it now, get it over with
BETH: I'll phone Annabelle then
KELLY: I'll go out front and do it
Kell walked out to them
KELL: I've just been talking to my husband, he says why don't you two just stay here tonight?
KELLY: Are you sure, we wouldn't want to put you out
KELL: Nonsense, we'll have a BBQ when he gets home
BETH: That's so nice of you, is it okay if I have a lie down?
KELL: Sure, do you need anything? I need to go to the market
BETH: I'm fine thanks
KELL: You should go lie with her
KELLY: I'm going to phone my mom first
TIME: 5PM
Beth woke up to the sound of Kelly and Kell coming back from the market, Johnny, Kell's husband was back too
JOHNNY: So, what do you do Kelly?
KELLY: I'm a firefighter in Chicago
JOHNNY: My brothers one here in Orange County, i was one years ago too!
Beth walked into the kitchen
JOHNNY: Wow! Now I know why my wife wants to sign you up
Beth smiled
KELL: Told you! (smiling)
Johnny gave her a hug
JOHNNY: I'm Johnny
BETH: Nice to meet you, thanks for letting us stay
JOHNNY: Don't mention it
Gemma was still following Beth
KELLY: You've made a friend Beth
BETH: I know, she slept with me on the bed. I hope that was alright?
KELL: There on our bed all the time
BETH: We should get a puppy
KELLY: We'll talk about it when we get home! (smiling)
