Chapter 1

Alison's POV

"Alison!" my mom yelled. "You need to get up!"

"Ugh okay." I said as I got out of bed. Today is my last day of school then it's summer.

I took a quick shower then dried my hair, making it wavy. I walked to my closet a picked out black high wasted shorts, white loose crop top and a black and red flannel around my boney waist. As I walked out of my room I grabbed my all black vans and slipped them on. I'm not one of those people that wears makeup and dresses up.

"Alison!" my brother yelled at me.

"What?!"

"Can you pick out clothes for me?" he said with a pouty dog face.

He is only 3 and has big brown eyes, blond hair that spikes up an little dimples. With that little face you can't get mad at him. I grabbed some clothes for him and helped him get dressed.

He held my hand as we walked down stairs. "Ali? Can you play trains wif me?"

"Sorry bubba, I can't. I have to got to school."

"Aww, okay..." he said as a tear fell from his eye.

"How bout I'll play with you after school okay?" He nodded and smiled. I picked him up and spun him around.

"Mom, I'm leaving!"

"Ok!" I kissed my brother, Jordan, goodbye and walked out the door.

I grabbed my phone from my pocket. I put earphones in and started to listen to The Vamps, 5 Seconds of Summer, Maroon 5 and Nirvana.

I reached school 15 minutes later. "ALISON!" My bestfriend came up to me and hugged me.

"Hey!"

"Today is the last day of school!!!" She said cheering.

"I know Lindsey." I said smiling at her.

"So are you going to move to Florida?" She asked getting serious.

"I honestly don't know." I said as I frowned. There was an awkward silence. "Look I don't want to think about that right now. So, what do you have planned?"

"Uh, I'm probably going to sit on the couch all summer on my phone with food." Then we both started laughing.

We got to class, all the classes were all the same. Asking you what you will be doing over summer and just hanging out.

I started to walk home when I saw my dad driving home.

"Hey hun. Want me to drive ya home?"

"Yeah, I guess" I got in his car and 5 minutes later we were home. As we walked in the door, Jordan came up and ran into my arms.

"ALISON!"

"Hi Jordan." In the gentlest way I tossed him on the couch and started tickling him. He started to scream and yell.

"A-Awison s-s-stop" he said between laughs.

"Alison, can we talk to you?" My mom and dad said.

"Uh yeah?" I said but it came out into a question.

"Jordan, come here." My dad said.

"Commmming!" He said then sitting on my lap.

"I know this will be hard but, we decided to move to Florida.." My mom said then silence filled the room.

"W-what?!"

"I'm sorry but our jobs got transferred."

"Sweetie, it will be beautiful there and you'll love it!"
