NOTE: [This is a short chapter, but I felt like I needed to post a new chapter soon. Even though my story isn't so popular I hope that some people were waiting for this😂 I will try to update as frequent as possible, but I have a lot of homework and stuff. Seriously, this series started as an English assignment😂 English is not my first language so sorry about my awful punctuation and spelling. Anyway, make sure to check out Cleverly Red by KristineStrand. Hope that cleared some stuff, yeah, enjoy!✊🏻]

I walked to my room where a pile of dresses were awaiting me. I chose one of them and tried the dress on because it was like it was calling for me. It was made out of the finest satin with a deep blue color. It also had a real diamond covered V-neck. I tried it on and it fitted me perfectly. Emerald knows her shit.

I looked into the big mirror, for the first time in a while I felt beautiful. I admired what I saw looking back at me until I saw fangs and yellow colored eyes. I flinched and touched my teeth to make sure that what I was seeing was false, and it was. My human teeth and its gap in the front was still there. I was frightened at first, but then I found comfort in its presence. I had animal ears, fangs, predator eyes, I was a wolf.

I slowly went closer to the reflection with my hands, but I got too close and it just disappeared. It made me sad for some stupid reason. It made me cry like someone important to me had passed right in that moment. "Nova" it whispered. Then its whispers were gone and I didn't hear more from it, I lost it presence, but not its cries. Its cries and mine combined to the point where my body was screaming in pain, pain in my heart, worse than any heartache.

Someone stormed into the room, it was Dawn. "What is going on? Why are you like this?" He asked, terrified. I was on my knees turned to the mirror, not looking away from it. He stood there behind me waiting for an explanation. "Dawn, he's dead!" I yelled. His look of fear turned into a look of concern, for me, like I was crazy or something. "Who is dead?" I started sobbing, I've lost him. "Father" I finally said. He immediately ran out the door, looking for father. I got up to me feet to run after him, then I heard the scream. "No! Why?!" He cried, Dawn cried. I ran as fast as I could to the throne room. It was a majestic room where the king sat on his throne in meetings. I saw Dawn standing over my father's dead body. I went over to him and gave him a hug. He held on to me with a tight grip, too scared to let go. "I'm not ready for this, Lu. I'm not ready to wear the crown" He whispered in my ear. "Yes you are, Dawn. You are the strongest person I know. You deserve the crown more than anyone!" He nodded, but still didn't let go of me.

I looked at my father's dead body with a sword through his chest. He was murdered, and that wolf knew, The Deathbringer. "Prometheus" I whispered. He let go and put a serious look on his face. "How do you know about that?" I looked him straight in the eyes. They were a soft brown color, like mine. "Just like I knew about father's death." He looked at me with confused look. "I am accessing the abilities that are extinct to us. So far only super hearing and a connection with The Deathbringer, but I got a feeling this is just the beginning."
