Part Twenty-Seven

Max's POV

I know it's just my birthday but I didn't think it would end up the way it has. When I was a kid everything would be so perfect on my birthday, but now it's all just a mess. I mean to start the day off I get some creepy present and then everyone decides to start fighting. Literally about a minuet after the fight, Lewis just grabbed hold of Rheanna's arm and pulled her put of the flat.

Rheanna's POV

"I only spoke to him I swear!" I told him.

"I don't care if you only made eye contact with him, I don't want you anywhere near him" Lewis shouts.

"I just don't get why you don't trust me, Lewis!" I shout back.

"Well I don't know, it might be something to do with the fact that you slept with him!" he shouts again.

"Calm down, Lewis! Please" I tell him, beginning to become scared.

"Don't tell me to calm down, you little whore!" he shouts, slapping me around the face. I fall to the floor and he towers over me "You do what your told! Not the other way around!" he screams. I try to get up, but he pushes me back down. "I said you do what your told!" he shouts again.

"I'm sorry, please stop" I beg, but he just laughs. He picks up his drink from the table and pours it all over me. Thankfully his tea was no longer hot, so it wasn't as bad. "Now clean yourself up, before I change my mind!" he shouts and walks into the other room. I get up slowly and walk up the stairs. Why is he doing this to me? I love him so much and he says he loves me to, but how does he expect me to stay when he treats me like this? I look in the mirror and see black smudged make up all over my face. I lock the door and just cry.

Nathan's POV

*The next day*

I think I should try and make things right with me and Renee I mean she does mean a lot to me. I know it's not the same as me and Rheanna, but I do think that it could work, if we try. I just hope it's not too late to make things right. I go over to her house and knock on the door. She answers, sees me and try's to close the door again, but I quickly put my foot in the door "I'm sorry Renee, can we talk?" I ask her. If there is anyway to get over Rheanna, this is it!

"Fine! I suppose you want to be coming in then" she asks, I smile and nod. We go into the living room and sit on the couch together awkwardly.

"So what exactly is it that you want?" she asks me

"Well I just wanted to apologise to you properly. I never meant for anything to happen between me and Rheanna it just did." I begin

"No, Nathan you don't have to" she says, looking at the floor.

"No I do! I love you Renee. Rheanna is just a friend. When I saw her with Lewis I thought I was losing my best mate and I got all of my feelings jumbled up. It's you I want and it's you I've always wanted. When I first saw you that day, I fell for you almost instantly. I just wish I wasn't so stupid to have blown it with you. I know you will never truly be able to forgive me, but I just wish that you'd try." I tell her.

"Nathan, I love you too! But I just don't know if I can trust you after what you did. I spent all that time wondering what I did to make you want me and then not and then want me again. I thought it was my fault, but all that time it was you. You were the one that messed up and you didn't even care about how it made me feel" she says, beginning to cry.

"I know and I feel so guilty. You meant everything to me and I just let you walk out of my life. I should have just stopped when I had the chance. All that time I should have been with you. I'm sorry." I tell her, putting my arm around her and hugging her close. "I've missed you so much"

"So have I, Nathan. But if were going to do this, then you have to prove I can trust you" she tells me.

"I will, I promise" I say letting go of her. She forward and kisses me. Maybe we are finally getting back on track.

Maria's POV

I go over to Rach's house, and bang on the door.

"What do you want?" she asks

"What a warm welcome!" I say, pushing her out of the way and entering the house.

"OI!" she shrieks. But I ignore her and walk in anyway. I go into the living room.

"See here's the thing, I want you to leave" I say

"What, I love Max!" she says, shocked.

"I will pay you £2000 if you just leave me alone" I say.

"I just told you, I love Max! Anyway you've paid me off before remember and you should know by now that it doesn't work!" she shouts.

"Oh my God, all I want is for you to move away from here and not come back, is that so hard? I've even brought you a plain ticket to Spain for Gods sake!"
