Rheanna's POV

"Rheanna has always been unbelievably hard to deal with. She cheated all the time and she would do slight little things which she knew would annoy me. She even slept with Nathan to get at me. She purposely told me to come home at that time so that I would find her with him. She is manipulative and she has destroyed my life. I would have left if I didn't love her, but this is what she does, she makes up stories to hurt me. Yes I pulled her down the street, but by her arm, not her hair. It just looked like that because her head was down. The reason I did that is because she told me she was going to sleep with everyone there, because I'm a horrible person. She is childish and I wouldn't believe a word she says" Lewis lies. What the hell is he on about? That never happened in my whole life. Everyone looks confused and they look like their trying to decide whether to believe me or him.

"Rheanna, is clearly lying, maybe for attention. She states that Lewis pinned her down and tried to rape her, however someone knocked on the door. Who was this person then? And wouldn't they have heard the shouting? Also what about friends? Wouldn't they wonder where your were?" the lawyer says. I look at the gallery again and I see Claire and Kelsea looking down, at the shame.

"I don't know whether my client explained this to you, but in her statement it says that Lewis cut the wires of the phone and broke her mobile, meaning that she couldn't contact the outside world" angel states.

"Overruled. Why would you not say this in your evidence just then?" she asks looking at me. I look at the judge. "Would you like to take the stand again?" he says. I stand up and I say "Because I missed that detail. I do apologise, theres just such a lot that happened and I don't like to remember" I say sheepishly, with tears in my eyes, at the fact that they don't believe me.

"and what about the fact that this person didn't hear you screams and neighbours? Wouldn't they hear?"

"My client doesn't have to answer that. She doesn't know whether they heard or not does she?" angel butts in.

"sustained"

"why didn't you report this? How come you kept it quiet when you got to your friends. Surly when you got there the first thing you would say was what has been going on, or at least ring the police?" she asks me again.

"my client has already answered that!" angel says, loudly.

"Overruled" the other lawyer says.

"because I didn't want to intrude on her day. I didn't want to ruin it" I tell her again.

"See! Does that sound like an attention seeker to you?" angel raises her voice. I look down at Nathan who has his head in his hands and elbows on the table.

"Well do you think that MY client would put his girlfriend through all of that, after taking her back after everything and when she is pregnant with his baby?" she says.

"Yes! Why would this young girl lie? Look at her! She's a nervous wreck. Why would a girl, so strong, suddenly become a quiet shy girl? Why would she want to do this if she was lying? What's in it for her, if he's such a nice guy?"angel states.

"Maybe she wants to hurt him"

"sustained" Angel yells.

"Erm, I don't know. She's just an attention seeker and look. She's getting it!" Lewis says, scowling at me.

"Did you see that look! If he was the innocent one, why would be feel the need to scowl at her like that?" angel asks.

"because she is lying and he is feeling bitter" the other lawyer shouts back.

"Order, in my court room!" the judge shouts again. We will now take this to the jury. We will have a ten minuet break, whilst they decide. Everyone then raises and leaves the courtroom. I rush into the bathroom and wash my face, still crying. I then look in the mirror only to see someone standing behind me, I look round only to see that it is Claire. "I'm so sorry!" she says in a trembling tone. She has obviously been crying.

"don't worry" I say wiping the water from my face and walking away.

"no" she says pulling me back by my arm "I really am sorry. I should have been there. I was too busy thinking about myself and the wedding to even come and see you and I bought any little excuse you told me. I knew it was weird but I just ignored it. If I was a better friend I would have realised what was going on before it got to the whole bathroom thing, I'm so sorry" she sobs.

"It's fine, you weren't to know" I tell her, walking back into the lobby of the courthouse. I see everyone stood there, but before I could walk over to them, Angel comes over to me.

"You can't speak to them right now. I'm sorry, but you are testifying, which means you shouldn't be speaking to anyone about it right now. Anyway we are going back in now, come on" she says ushering me towards the courtroom doors. I walk back in and sit back in my seat. Everyone is staring at me again. I feel so paranoid. I look around to see Lewis looking smug again and Nathan is looking distraught. Once everyone has settled down, the judge says "We have finally reached a verdict. I here-by declare Lewis Robbins..."
