Part Fifty-Four

Rheanna's POV

*One week later*

I sit on the sofa, facing the door as the post man pushes the post through the letter box. Then all of a sudden I see a white letter with a first class stamp on it. It's addressed to nathan and it looks important. I run over to it and pick it up. Nathan walks out of his room and sees me stood there holding it. His face lights up a little and then he walks over to me. He is wearing just his boxers as he has just woken up and I'm in my dressing gown. Everyone else is still asleep. Nathan looks at me slightly nervously.

"Go on, then" he says. So I quickly rip open the envelope and look at he words printed on the page, just before I could read it, Nathan pulls it off of me and reads it. His face drops and he falls onto the sofa. "It says it's negative. I'm not the father" He says, sounding like something has broken inside of him. I pull it back off of him and scan the page until I get to the part where it says negative on the page. I then go back up to the top and read the whole letter properly in disbelief. "Oh my god! You read Lewis's bit you idiot. Lewis's sample came back negative not yours! Leo's your son" I say jumping up happily.

At this Nathan's face lights up again and he jumps back up and kisses me.

"How did you manage to read it wrong, you fool" I laugh as he picks me up and begins to spin me around. We get to pick Leo up today too and Nathan says that my house is ready to go and see, so I hope it's nice and not a bachelor pad. After about two minuets of spinning, Siva enters the room and just stares at us.

"what's going on?" he asks us, slightly confused.

"I'm a dad! I'm actually leo's dad" Nathan says excitedly, as he puts me down. I have to sit down at this as I feel really dizzy.

"oh, congratulations" he says patting Nathan on the back. After this we both go and get dressed to go and pick Leo up. I can't wait! It will be the first time that I get to hold him and he is already two weeks old. I've had to rush around and get everything he needs, seeing as though it was a bit of a shock at how early he came. He is just so perfect and now we know Nathan is the day, we can be the perfect little family that I always wanted. We arrive at the hospital about half an hour later and I walk in to see nurse goodman waiting I'm reception for us. She is Leo's nurse. We follow her into leo's room, where he is wearing a little t-shirt with the hospitals name on it. It has little mittens over his hands so that his sharp nails won't scratch him. The nurse takes him out of the incubator and hands him to me. It's the first time I've held him and it feels like a dream. He is so adorable and he is just staring at me with his big blue eyes. It seems like all of the rubbish has been worth it, because now I have the most amazing gift that I could ever have wished for. Nathan is stood behind be with one arm around me and the other around Leo. It looks like we have finally got our little family. We take him out of the hospital, with him still in my arms. I can't stop smiling, I can't believe that this is actually happening, and we can still go on this holiday with everyone. Instead of going back to Nathan's, we go straight back to mine. We pull up and I get Leo out of the baby seat. I have a carry cot, which I place him in, before we enter the house. Nathan carries him in, so that I can look at the house. The first thing I notice is that the grass has been cut in the front garden and flowers have been planted. Once we reach the door, Nathan pulls out a key and hands it to me. It has my name on it and it has flowers all over it. There roses and they are so beautiful.

"What's this for. I already have a key" I ask confused.

"I got the lock changed. It's like a new house and this way we know that Lewis can never come back here. I put the lock in the door and then turn it. The door has even changed. Instead of being the horrible wooden door, it is now a plastic White door, which has a glass window in it, with flowers printed on it. I then step into the hall, where there is now just a photo frame hanging up. It's white and Curley.

"What's that for?" I ask Nathan, a bit confused.

"it's for our family portrait" he smiles. I smile back and then I notice that the Walls are no longer the lime colour that they were before, they are now a cream colour. The carpet has changed too. It is now wooden flooring. It looks really nice. I go into the living room and see that none of my old furniture is there any more. I have a new flat screen tv, which was probably Nathan's idea because his Xbox 360 is on the shelf under it. I then look around from the middle of the room, I see a new coffee table that is no longer wood, it is now glass. I then see that the carpet is now White instead of red and the Walls are a light yellow colour. The kitchen has changed completely, from the cheap and tacky fitted kitchen, to a White classy kitchen. Everything is shining and there is even a breakfast bar. In the corner there is a small table, which can fit about four people around it, but it pulls out to make it larger, if we have guests. The floor is now tiled and the Walls are a pale green. I then look out of the window which is above the sink and I notice that the back garden has been done too. There is now a shed at the back of the garden and even a swing for Leo. There's also a trampoline with a net and then there is a garden bench under a grape vine, where there are pink and yellow roses curling up. There is a flower bed too and garden gnomes everywhere. In the bushes and in the shed. They are so cute. I then go back into the house and up the stairs. The stairs now have carpet on too and this Is cream as well. I notice a shoe rack at the bottom of them and I take my shoes off before making my way up. The first thing I notice when I get there is a little sign on the guest bedroom, which reads "Leo's room" it's in a pale blue font with a duck at the bottom. I open the door only to find his nursery. There is a cot, which has Winnie the pooh carved into the side of it, with a blanket which also has his name on it. I then see that the Walls are a pale blue and the floor is wood. I then see that there is a shelf with all of the cuddly toys, we have bought him these last two weeks, apart from one. We bought him a little me to you bear which has his name on. This is sat inside the cot. There is a changing table and a cupboard and dresser containing all of his tiny clothes and shoes. Nathan even bought him a top with the band on. Then I head back into my own bed room, hesitating before entering. Knowing that this is where it all happened and for a minuet I forget everything and I think that lewis is still in the house. I slowly push the door open, to see that the room is completely different. There is nothing left of the memories and every single piece of furniture is new. The walls are now a pale pink colour, so it isn't too noticeale and the carpet also White. I then go back out and into the bath room, I enter not knowing what to expect. Everything has changed. The Walls and floor are now tiled. It is White. The carvings in the wall have been covered up with tiles and the shower has become a bath and shower. The sink has also changed. Instead of it being a singular sink, it is now like a kitchen sink, with cupboards underneath and on the side there is a changing mat for leo.

"What do you think?" Nathan asks me with a smile on his face.

"It's amazing" I say, hugging him. I go back into the bed room and I lift up the corner of the carpet, where there is a loose floor board. Nathan comes in behind me, after putting Leo in the cot.

"what are you doing?" he asks me. I lift up the floor board to see nothing.

"Nathan, there was some stuff in here. Where's it gone?" I ask him confused.

"I flushed it down the toilet." he replies. "I know you've been dealing, Rheanna"

"What? Are you stupid? There was five grands worth of stock in here! Norman is going to kill me!" I tell him, worriedly.
