Three's Company

Chapter 30

Louis

          It was only a matter of 20 minutes before I got home. I got out of the car making sure to hug both Ruth and Luke before making my way to the door, stuck to the door was a note this confused me at first so I took it down to be able to read it better.

"Welcome home baby boy, your daddy's have a little surprise waiting for you. All you have to do is follow instructions to find not only your surprise but us as well. Good luck angel.

       Your first clue will be found where you would find your keys as you walk in the door."

         I got so excited knowing that I was going to be doing scavenger hunt. I used to love doing those growing up with my dad. He always made them so much fun. As soon as I opened the door I went straight for the keybowl. I dug around until I found the note at the bottom of the bowl. It was folded up so I opened it so I could read it better.

"Wonderful, still be able to find your next clue where our mom keeps Grandma's China."

          It took me only a short while to remember that there was a glass cupboard in the dining room full of plates we aren't allowed to use. I quickly made my way there, and took a moment to located in the cupboard before I slowly and carefully open the glass to get it.

" you're getting closer and closer just a couple more to go. You'll find the next clue where our future babies spend the night."

         That one was so easy I knew exactly where I need to go. I bolted up the stairs and quickly made a beeline for the nursery. As I walked in I noticed that the room looks so empty besides the small things we had already started getting like diapers and a few small stuffed animals. I noticed that the next paper was taped to the top of the diaper box. Quickly made my way over to find out where I needed to go next.

" wow this is the last stop before you get to your surprise. Your destination is where you start your morning."

              I knew for a fact that had to have been our room. I knew I was right when I made it to the door and found another note.

" well baby you have reached the end of your little scavenger hunt. We hope you enjoyed it. Now before you make your way in we want you to know how much we love you and our little family. It has only been a short while and you have already managed to have us both wrapped around your little finger. Some will say that we're moving too fast but we hope that you don't agree. The way that we look at it is that it can't be too fast when you just know. When you know that you want to spend the rest of your life with someone and no matter what might come your way you know they will always be there for you. Knowing that someone loves you not just on your good days but you're bad. That is all we have ever wanted to be for you baby. Now you can open this door to claim your prize and we hope you love what you find.

            I had silent tears rolling down my cheek knowing that they did all of this just because they love me. I couldn't wait to see what was beyond the door so I quickly fling it open and was not expecting what I would see next....

(A/N)    okay so this is going to be broken into three parts so I hope you enjoyed this one. The last and final part will be up tonight or in the morning. This was supposed to be up earlier but ended up having to babysit the kids next door. They just left so I decided to sit down and quickly write this up so sorry for any mistakes but I hope you still enjoyed it. Again this is dedicated to Larryforever280913 for helping me figure out how I want these chapters to go.
