???'s POV

Everything is almost ready... I just need to pull some strings and it will be just perfect~

"Aww, are you sleepy? Don't worry, after I'm done with all of this you can sleep long and hard!" I say, chuckling as I make my way away from the bloody mess on the floor and locking the door at my tail.

Seeing as Kumori has already started on her part, I'll just have to take care of the next step...

"This is going to be my BREAKTHROUGH~" I shout into the dark and abandoned house, my humorless laughs scaring the ravens outside. When I feel my phone buzzing in the pocket of my hoodie, I stop abruptly. As I bring the ringing object close by, I answer with a deafening silence that leads to chuckles.

"So, you're done? Aww, I would've wanted to be there when you did it...~ Yeah, it must've been quite a shock to say the least!! For now we shall get to phase 2 of the plan..." I say, talking more to myself than to the person on the other line, the other side staying radio silent the whole time.
I start laughing at the immense and overwhelming feeling of control, my eyes probably watering from all the smiling and laughing I've been subjected to.

My laughter cuts off all of the sudden.
A murderous intent raises it's head in me again, and it turns my smile into a wide-stretched smirk. I hear something crawling on the floor behind me under the stairs.
And as quickly as it had appeared, it was dead.

Annihilated.

Stabbed.

I let my hand fall back to my side, one of the smallest throwing knives missing from the belt hanging from my hips. I tilt my head, looking at the small rat as it's blood starts pooling around its body.

"Too bad I won't be able to kill them immediately" I say casually, hanging up as soon as I did.

First person POV

I sigh, finishing up the homework I got for today. I have a major migraine at the moment, which leads me to believe that I really overdid the whole villain-thing back there. I don't get a whole lot of time to wallow in my self-depricating thoughts, before Hagi comes into my room without knocking. She looks me up and down, probably looking for any injuries, and then she lets her stiff demeanor relax just a bit and sighs as she does.

"I'm surprised you didn't completely trash yourself there, Megamind" She says, a mocking look in her eyes as she calls me that new nickname she came up with. Though I still take note of the small relieved sigh that she released before, knowing that she was actually very worried about how I'd handle it.
I offer her a bashful smile.

"I was in the villain team, and we won" I say, and she pushes my shoulder playfully.
"You bettet not be turning into a villain on my watch...!" She quips, looking at me with mocked offence.
I laugh lightly, and once the pounding headache finally subsides to a small twinge of pain now and then, I throw myself onto my bed, Hagi standing there in silence.

"You know, someone came here looking for you while you were at school" She says, my eyebrows furrowing.
'Who could've that been? It must've been someone unusual if she brought it up only now...' I ponder. Hagi extends her arm to me, and there I see a small slip of paper that has been folded.
I take it carefully, my confusion probably clear since she sighs audibly and shakes her head.

"They left this on the door" She simply states.
"You're lucky Mika didn't want to read it since it's for you, Mindfreak" She says, her eyes boring into my eyes before she exits my room.
I open the paper, and I read the text.

"Hello, (Y/n).
I am writing this so I can meet you and discuss matters concerning your father, since he told me to contact you some time ago.
Come see me at exactly 19.30 in the park near school. Bring the thing you received before the bag.

Best regards,

The one who sent both the bag from your father and the other sign"

I reread it many times, but every time I do it gets more confusing.

'The words "other sign" are thicker and the word sign might be pointing to a literal sign, which leads me to believe that it talks about the paper where the marking was, and now has 'Will' on it. And the school they mentioned must be UA...' I conclude, putting the paper into my pocket when I notice that it's 18.58. As I get up, I keep asking myself what I'm about to do and if this really is worth it.

I don't know what I'm about to do, but since it has to do with my father I'll try. But... hell, that mystery person gave the most vague instructions ever and I'm going to meet them all of the sudden??
I comb my fingers through my hair in frustration, as I throw the small duffelbag onto my shoulder with the paper, keys and my phone inside.
I tell Hagi and Mika about my departure, and they nod before going back to talking with hushed voices.

I don't know why but I feel like something might definetely go wrong.

I'm sorry for the shorter filler chapter, but I'm still getting back into the swing of things :'D
I promise the next chapter will be a little more action-based!
