I stood there, speechless. He put his colored contact back in and dragged me down the path to catch up with Chloe and Rory. My mind spun.
"I trust you won't tell anyone." Oslo whispered harshly. I nodded my head, causing my frizzy hair to bounce. He grunted in satisfaction and bounded forward, letting go of my hand.
"By the way," he called, "Nice outfit." I looked down at my red shirt and simple jean shorts. Nothing particularly special.

Getting Chloe inside the Gathering hall was going to be the largest problem. We hid behind the fake shrubs on the far side of the property, attempting to make a plan. I grabbed my bag from the branch I had set it on earlier. My mind was too foggy to think clearly. Why was it that whatever Oslo did numbed my brain?
"We could sneak her in through the window?"
"No, Oslo. I can't climb through."
"We just have to use the crowd inside to our advantage." Rory proposed, snapping my mind into reality. He was brilliant. Chloe and Oslo were giving him blank stares.
"He's right!" I told them, "We can blend in better in a large crowd of people. We just need to distract Hennessy and the other Gathering directors."
"Leave that to me." Oslo smirked. Chloe rolled her eyes, but I couldn't stop thinking about what he had just showed me. I always thought I was the only person with eyes like that up until today.
"Sounds good." Rory interrupted my thinking again. And so, we were off.

They hadn't really described my job very well, but I was going with the flow. Once inside, I commenced to the bathroom. The women's bathroom, this time. I agreed to the position because it did not involve much teamwork, and I worked better alone anyway. That, and I didn't have to be part of the action going on outside the bathroom door.
I waited and waited, avoiding the mirror. The strap of my bag was suddenly very uncomfortable and my eyelids very heavy. I couldn't sleep though, Chloe was counting on me.
When the door burst open, I saw Rory and Oslo help a limping Chloe into the bathroom. I rushed over to help.
"You distracted them?" I asked Oslo. He chuckled.
"Oh yeah," I raised an eyebrow at him.
"Let's just say I told them there was a young couple doing some very interesting things in the garden."
"Gross! You're absolutely revolting!" I almost gagged, but I my gaze was instantly drawn to his eyes.
"Hello?" Chloe pointed to her leg.
"Right... You two can leave, I've got this covered." I told the boys.
"As you wish, my lady," Oslo bowed before getting pulled out by Rory. I bit my lip and got to work. I locked the door and concentrated on the wound, clearing my mind off of everything else. Using the water from the sink, I cleansed Chloe's leg wound. Her pants were both stained and soaked. I took my frilly blouse out of my bag and tore it apart. I wrapped her leg with it, stopping the mild bleeding.
"My jeans are ruined... There's no way Hennessy won't notice," Chloe scrunched up her nose. I took my skirt out of my bag and handed it to her.
"I know you probably hate skirts, but it's the only alternative I can think of." she looked at it reluctantly but took it gratefully. She hobbled over to a stall and changed. Once she came out, she threw her jeans in the rubbish bin.
