Chapter 12

Readers POV
"Everyone here? Everyone ready?" Hobi affirmed cheerily from the driving seat.

"Yes" both Tae and Jimin replied in unison, Jimin smiling to himself as he was sitting next to Tae on one side and Verity on the other, he couldn't wait for the journey to commence.

"Verity, you ready?" Hobi made eye contact with Her in the mirror, giving her a small smile and then look down quickly as he remembered what happened the evening before. Where Verity walked in he grabbed her by the waist to remove her from Jungkook's situation.

Verity smiled back at Hobi and said "Um yeah, but aren't we waiting for Jungkook?"

Hobi was about to open his mouth to reply as the front passenger seat door opened and jungkook quickly jumped in. He mumbled his apologies but then pulled up his hood from his big hoodie and plugged his headphones in, officially closing himself off from the group.

Hobi nodded and made a cute noise as he turned the engine on.

Verity turn to Jimin and raised her eyebrows with concern and confusion towards Jungkook's actions.

Jimin smiled sweetly at Verity and put his hand on her knee and quietly said "I think he still must be tired, he's been finding it hard the last few months"

Jimin squeezed Verity's knee in comfort and she nodded looking unsettled and concerned. Jimin pulled his hand away and briefly looked out the window, he couldn't help but feel slight guilt from not completely telling Verity the whole truth. As he knew what really was happening to Jungkook, he was going through his magical time, where he fully transitions in to who he really is, a wolf.

Taehyung giggled as he typed away on his phone, drawing the attention of Verity and Jimin. Suddenly the car radio started playing loud pop music and Taehyung started singing along straight away.

Jimin started giggling and joined Taehyung, both dancing joyfully to the song playing loudly. Hobi groaned from the front seat but was smiling widely.

Verity couldn't help but smile, happily watching the boys mess around.

Yoongi's POV

I catch myself staring at Millie as she drives the car with ease. I let myself relax in to the seat, secretly pleased with our car group for the journey as I know there will be no loud noises and it'll be a relaxed drive up to the lodge.

I turn to see Namjoon staring out the window, his earphones in his ears, bopping along to most likely one of his most recent tracks.

Jin on the other hand is fast asleep in the seat next door, his mouth slightly open. I'm just about the turn my head back when i notice little sparkles slowly appear out his mouth with every exhale. It's one of his personal traits as a fairy, he actually sparkles...! I roll my eyes how does he even manage to exude beauty even when he's asleep. I don't feel panicked about millie noticing as I think it takes a trained eye to notice these things...especially as she's focusing on driving too, I'm sure it'll be fine.

My attention is brought back to Millie as she quickly changes lanes and flicks the indicator. She must feel my eyes on her as she turns to look at me and notices me staring. She gives me a small meaningful smile and her eyes then turn back to the road.

I smile to myself, and I start to feel my fangs protrude my gums and my heart beat slightly faster. My fangs slightly dig in to my bottom lip, oh gosh! Why can't I control this, why does millie make me lose control..how does she make me feel like this just from her smiling at me.

I take a deep sigh and look out the window, bringing my lips down I try my best to cover my fangs.
