I woke up at five o'clock in the morning like usual to go for my morning run, getting dressed, I headed downstairs to sneak out. I walked out the door surprised. Everyone was already outside waiting for me.

"Am I late for something?" I asked confused.

"No just in time, welcome to morning training.First we have to see you're fighting skill, and go from there. According to your old Alpha you never trained with them?" Jace smiled at me.

I was a little surprised. After dinner, I thought he would be avoiding me.

I nodded.

"Yes I am excited to see how you do in training." Peter said, with a hint of sarcasm.

The secret meaning behind that sentence, l am excited to see you fail miserably.

I smiled faintly they were in for a surprise.

Jace motioned for me to come closer, and pointed to the biggest body builder I had ever seen. He was easily six and half feet tall, with huge muscles and a smile that was going to be my doom or so they thought. I smiled up at him and said, "Ready to lose?"

He laughed, "Don't get cocky, kid. I'm pretty sure we know who the winner is."

"Yeah, we do. Me." I said back.

"Well, then. Let's see." He replied back.

"Violet this is Mike. He's our undefeated champion, so winning may be... eh... hard for someone like you." Jace said.

I shot him a look. "Are you calling me weak?"

"No! It's just... well... Mike is undefeated and no one can beat him, and he's trained for years while you haven't been to a single training session, so you can see how you winning seems unlikely." I could feel the pack trying hard not to laugh.

"Let's just fight." I rolled my eyes, ignoring Jace's comment.

I'll show him.

Mike winked at me, I rolled my eyes again. I can't wait to beat him.

"Okay the rules are simple. No dirty fighting, and no going soft on you're partner, the first person to tap out loses." Jace said mouthing good luck to me.

And the fight began.

Mike and I were circling each other, using my cat-like grace, I waited for him to make the first move.

He did, aiming a punch at my face, which I dodged, and he went for me again. He punched and I dodged, this went on for thirty seconds and I could tell he was getting tired. I, on the other hand was full of energy and having fun dodging his punches and getting him agitated. It was time for me to make my move, I circled him, and punched his face with inhuman speed. Mike, surprised I had made a move already stumbled back and fell to ground. He got back up, and attacked me full-on. I leaped over him doing a flip, and gave him a roundhouse kick, which sent him flying out of the ring. He attacked again, throwing sloppy punches, his anger clouding his judgement. I dodged easily, landing punches and blows to his sides. Delivering the final blow, I gave him another roundhouse kick and he fell to the ground bloody and bruised.

He finally tapped out, after I broke his arm.

I looked around to see faces of shock and awe.

"It looks like I win." I announced feeling extremely smug, never mess with a werecat.

Mike was on the floor, and I offered my hand to help get up.

He took my hand and I lifted him up.

"Good fight." I said proudly.

Mike raised an eyebrow and looked at his stopwatch.

"Two minutes. It took you two minutes to knock me down." Mike said shocked.

"Meh. I could have done it in thirty seconds, I wanted to tease you." I said back.

"I know." Mike said.

"Friends?" Mike said offering me his hand.

"Of course." I took his hand and shook it.

Out of the corner of my eye, I turned around slowly and saw mystery boy motion for me to come.

I nodded and made an excuse to leave. I ran to the house, into the room, and there waiting for me was a note.

Meet me in the woods at midnight

By the waterfall.
