I looked at him, stunned into silence. His sky blue eyes looked at me, expecting me to say something.
"Hello?" I said, or asked.
"Hi I'm Alpha Jace, and you are?" He asked normally, well at least he had decent social skills unlike me, who was stumbling over what to say.
"Violet." I replied curtly.
"Nice name." He said awkwardly.
"Thanks."
He cleared his throat, and said "We better go sign the Mate papers."
"Okay sure." I followed him and watched as everyone looked at us in shushed whispers.

He led me over to a table, where four officials sat passing out papers and stamping them.
"We would like to sign the Mate Papers." Jace announced.
"Alright here you go," The first official said smiling slightly, as he handed us the papers.
Jace signed the papers quickly and handed them to me. I signed them with slight hesistation.
We were officially mates.
