Prologue:

Running...

Scratch that.

Sprinting, for my life....

Knowing he was right behind me and that if I fell I'd be gone forever.

I jinxed it.

I fell, rolling my ankle, down the side of the hill.

And in knowing this could be my last taste of freedom I tried to get back on my feet just as two strong arms lifted me up in the air one hand resting roughly over my mouth and its screams, the other around my waist. He turned my body to face him and his deep enclosing blue eyes...

Shit.

I was now entranced in those deep blue eyes I barely even noticed him bringing out the sharp dagger ready to pierce through my innocent heart.

Was he trying to torture me?

That dagger was slicing my skin all along my arms drawing blood as it drew a jagged star that was oozing blood too fast for my liking, in fact I would prefer not to be having my skin sliced open.

He drew back his dagger and threw it at my heart.

A quick searing pain went through my chest and then all went black. The last thing I heard was him laughing...
