I woke up in a biting cold room.

The only light was from candles and the moonlight streaming through the windows. I tried to sit up but as soon as I did a sharp pain went throughout my chest and stomach. I put my hand down to try and hold me up then pain seared through my wrist. I looked down at the jagged star that was scarred on my wrist. A tray was left at the side of this bed made of wood and dirty cloth, it held a glass of mucky water and two slices of dry toast. I let myself fall back down onto the bed and fall back into a deep sleep ignoring the disgusting food.

'I was running. Sprinting. My tacky white dress was getting caught on branches and things and that was only slowing me down. He was right behind me, on my heels. I was trying to run faster but my legs were not agreeing with me. My annoying blonde curls got in my eye sight and I fell to the muddy ground only to be lifted up by two strong arms. He took out his knife as I looked, entranced, in those deep ocean blue eyes. He traced the jagged star on my innocent wrist and then drew back the knife aiming for my heart. All went black.

Strong arms carrying me back to the wooden hut. Fading in and out of black outs. Blood covering my tacky white dress. I somehow ended up in a dark room on a bloody bed. He took cloths and started cleaning blood from the wound in my chest. Searing pain went throughout my body every time he touched my now bare flesh. He finished cleaning the wound in my chest and went to my wrist where that jagged star lay scarred for life. He then took out a needle and started to stitch my chest back up. I tried to yell out in pain but not even a whimper came from my frozen lips.-' I sat up alarmed and awake. Was that what had really happened? I looked down at my chest and saw a terrible scar. I quickly pulled the blanket up over my naked chest and looked around this dark room. The walls were lined with medicines and utensils. There was a table beside me which held the needle I had seen in my dream-wait nightmare- blood covered the floor and I soon realized that not only did it cover the floor but my tacky white dress which was in shreds on the floor. The door to the room creaked open and I turned and stared back into those deep blue eyes. His brown hair was tangled and it seemed as though he had gotten very little sleep. His black clothes were stained ruby red. He walked over to my bed as I closed my eyes and lay back down. He took a wet cloth and placed it on my sweaty forehead. He must have gathered up the disgusting food and rags left on the floor as when I turned back to the direction the cloth had come from he was not there and neither were the rags and food. The door was left wide open and he soon came back with dark jeans, a black singlet, black leather jacket, some underwear and chucks and placed them on my bed.

"Try these on." he said in a deep yet entrancing voice. I nodded and he left the room and I sat up again, gathered the clothing and carefully got changed. There was no food or water in the room anymore and I was starving so I walked out to try and find the man. I found him washing a knife in the sink.

"Who?" I asked him sternly.

"A pretty girl." he replied.

"Oh so just the usual then?"

"Don't you forget I killed your sisters very nice ex-boyfriend are you calling him a pretty girl?" he replied.

"It was you?!?! Who did u kill this time?!?!"

"Yes it was me, my dear such a surprise. It was your sister." he replied calmly.

I felt sick. I was falling to my knees slowly. Pain was searing through my chest not from the physical wound but what struck me more was the gap I felt in my heart now that this monster had killed Mia.

"YOU MONSTER!!" I yelled at him, running, fists clenched towards him. He grabbed my forearms trying to stop me. I was striking at his chest and then gave up flailing my arms and let in a few kicks to his legs and stomach.
