Thinking about you
feels like opening a door
in the middle
of a snowstorm
and damn
Am I underdressed
~ Shaking
**************************************
I've always wanted to know
what it felt like
to create love
out of stardust
~Pregnancy
**************************************
I'm staring at the sky
full of blue and gold
The blue
makes me think of you
your eyes
I think they were about this color
I think...
The details are blurry now
**************************************
Your hands, and your lips on my skin
are heaven.
But you're still too far away...
how will I cope, miles apart
from those hands and lips?
**************************************
I'm round
and soft
my stomach
it arches
as though I am full of love
but all I am full of is broken parts
and damaged goods
~Fully empty
**************************************
I let you take me
piece
by ever-loving piece
under the promise
of eternal love
Now I'm left
with barely half a soul
~Come back with me... please
**************************************
The wind billows outside my window
either threatening to blow my world down
or inviting me out to be embraced
by its icy fingertips
I wish to put on a long billowy dress
and run outside
and fly away with the wind
**************************************
You weren't on center stage,
you weren't the main attraction,
you couldn't find your light,
but you were always my star.
**************************************
There are days
that feel like our own little heaven
but there's always a tomorrow
where our heaven ends
**************************************
I miss that summer
at the lake
laying on a blanket in the grass, embracing each other
laughing, smiling, kissing
talking about whatever came to mind
then stripping to our underwear and jumping in the chilly water
just to get back out and cuddle on the blanket under the afternoon sun
...
If only it was right
