Chapter 19: Changing Point

Gwen POV:
"Oh my god!" I yelled as I dropped all the items I was carrying and rushed to aid y/n. I picked her up and placed her in bed and ran to David.
"David!" I yell.
"Gwen! What is it?!" He yells worried as an arrow barely misses his face.
"Nikki! Watch where your pointing that!" I yell at her running to David. "It's y/n, she's not good" I cough, trying to catch my breath.
"Oh no" his green eyes are filled with worry.
"What the fuck is going on over here?" Max sneers as Nikki and Neil follow behind him.
"It's none of your business Max" I snap as David runs off to his cabin.
"Is it y/n?! What the fuck happen! This is my business" Max begins to yell.
"This is none of your business!" I yell running to the cabin.
I can tell there behind me. "Oh by the way kids free day!!" I call to the other campers as the little shits get on my tail. I make it to David's cabin, I shut the door and lock it. The curtains are ready closed. David is hovering over the bed, she begins to wake up.

Y/N POV:
"Ouch" I groan sitting up, I feel a hand pushing me back down. "What th-" I get interrupted.
"Y/n! Are you ok?" Gwen asks me worried. David is here to hovering over me.
"I'm fine... I thought David was busy. Why are you guys worried." I answer/ask them.
"I came in with your stuff and you were passed out on the floor!" Gwen exclaimed.
Oh no. "I'm sorry guys the sun was bothering me, and I tried to stand up and walk but I guess I'm to weak." I explain to them.
"Oh my gosh! I thought that you had a seizure, o-o-or a fell and hit your head and went into a coma! Also..." David kept rambling on and on about what could of or might happened if he kept talking!
"David!!" I yell getting annoyed.
"Sorry, I was just worried!" He exclaimed.
"Wait, what is the activity today?" I ask him slowly.
"Oh archery..." David said trailing off. I heard shouts in the distance. "Oh no..."
"I'll get them, you watch her David. You need a break anyway!" Gwen called to him bursting through the door to the campers.
David walked off to his desk and started sorting through some papers, and writing...what looked like an application. I sighed and looked down at my arms. David looked over at me and gave me an encouraging smile. I smiled to myself knowing everything will be alright. Well not fully but everything will be alright here.

David POV:
I look down at Max's adoption forms. I started filling in why I would be a good parent and if I have suitable place for him to live at... Occasionally I would look over at y/n forms and bury my head in my hands. I look up at y/n and smile encouragingly at her. I can see her smile to herself as she looked at her bandaged cuts.
"Hey, are you ok?" I ask her.
"Huh? Oh yah I'm fine" she answers.
"You know you can tell me anything, I'm told I'm a good listener." I say looking down at my forms to fill.
"Oh ok" she answers a little sadly. "Do you have something else to watch, I'm not into trash tv" She asks.
"Haha ok here, we also can put on rob boss." I laughed standing up and giving her the remote.
"Who's rob boss?" She asks.
"Here let me put it on..." I say getting some things together.

Max POV:
That, fucking, bastard. It is my business! I need know she's fine, she everything to me right now! I can't believe his about to be my dad. I shake my head in disbelief but in reality I'm really excited about him taking me in. I see David burst through the Mess Hall doors. Great what retired activity are we going to do to- 
"Ok campers! We are going to do archery today!" He exclaimed.
Ohhh this will be good. "Hey Nikki, you think you can "accidentally" shoot David with a arrow" I whisper to her.
"Sure Max!" She exclaimed quietly.
He'll be fine, we won't be dealing with sharp, nice, arrows. This is a trashy summer camp. David goes around and passes out bows and arrows. He takes us to the target ranges and shows us how to do it. First try without barely looking, he gets a bullseye.
"Now I know I made it look easy, but it takes time and concentration." He says happily. He stepped out of the way and  people started shooting. Nobody made bullseye. I took the arrow and placed it on the board, I pulled back and shot. I hit the board on the outer ring, huh first try. I look over and Neil is doing kind of good. I look over at Nikki and she's doing a little better than me. I hear Neil muttering to himself about calculations and shit. Niki looks over at me with a big smile. I look behind her and I see Gwen running and yelling for David. David ran to her and Gwen almost started talking, until Nikki took her chance and aimed at David. The arrow flew past his face.
"Nikki! Watch where your pointing that thing!" Gwen yells at Nikki. She started talking frantically. I walked up to her and David. W
"What the fuck is going on over here?" I sneer as Nikki and Neil come behind me.
"It's none of your business!" Gwen snaps as David runs off.
"Is it Y/n?! What the fuck happened! This is my business!" I yell at her.
She follows him and I start running after her. She turns around and yells "oh by the way! Free day kids!!!". I'm on her tail now, once she gets to the door she opens it and slams it in my face. I try the knob and it's lock, I try the window but it's curtains are blocking my view. I huff and go to the door and sit down.
"Hey Max! Want to go on a adventure!" Nikki exclaimed.
"No, I'm not in the mood" I sigh.
"What's wrong Max?" Neil ask sitting down by me.
"What?! Nothing! Just leave me alone!" I snap, they both shrug and walk off into the woods. I put my head in my hands, I hear the door unlocking and I quickly get up. The door bursts open and I hide behind it. The door closes and I see Gwen bounding towards where campers are shouting. I sigh and sit back down on the ground, leaning against the wall.
