Chapter 41: Who the hell is that?

"WAKE UP!" Daniel yells clashing something outside our tents.
We slowly walk out of our tent to see David scowling Daniel about waking us up.
"Sorry everyone, he just needs some work" David says.
Everybody groans and we trudge to the Mess Hall. I go and sit down at a table and I plop down on the bench. I put my head down and groan.
"What's wrong y/n?" David asks sitting down next to me.
"Daniel, he is a retard" I mumble raising my head.
"Here" David says giving me something.
In his hands is yellow bandana and a black jean jacket.
"I didn't think you like a brown vest like me" he says brightly.
I take the items and I slip on the jean jacket and tie the bandana around my neck. I pull out a hair tie and put my hair up into a high ponytail.
"Thanks David" I say.
He smiles brightly and gets up.
"Welp, I better make sure Daniel doesn't kill Max"
"Why do you say that?"
"Cause there fighting look out the window" he sighs.
I turn around and look out the window. I see Daniel and Max giving each other a stink eye and they begin walking to the Mess Hall without looking away. They burst through the doors now arguing.
I sigh and lean on my hand.
"Hey babe" Max says sitting down next to me.
"Hey" I grumble.
"What's wrong?" He asks worried.
"Nothing, I'm just tired..."
"Oh...ok"
We sit in silence till Nikki and Neil come by.
"Hi guys!" Nikki exclaims.
"Hi Nikki" I grumble.
Nikki looks worriedly at Max and Neil.
David and Daniel sit next to each holding hands. Gwen bursts into the room and she runs over to the two. Her eyes are wide and she is tense. She leans over and whispers to them. They both stand up quickly and there eyes wide. They make quick, worried, steps and they leave. I stand up and begin to follow them.
"Y/n!" Max yells coming after me.
"Y/n!"
"Y/n!" Nikki and Neil yell.
I ignore them I go through the doors, I see the group walk to the entrance. I see a beautiful, expensive, red convertible. A beautiful woman with dark red hair(same as David's) stands near the car. She wears a flowing white dress, that is dotted in little hibiscus flowers. She has big black sunglasses. She has popping red lips. She also has white heels.
"Where is she?" She asks them.
"Your not taking her!" David yells getting furious.
"She is my daughter! I have the right!"
"You left her to rot in that cult!" Daniel yells holding David back.
"Brother! I thought you had better manners! What happened to your cheerful attitude you'd acquire here!" She yells going up close to him.
"Back away mam!" Gwen yells getting involved.
"I don't know who you are! But this doesn't occur you!"
"What the hell is going on here?!" I yell and everybody stops.
"Honey? Is that you?" The woman says fondly.
"Who are you?" I yell.
"Why, I'm your mother"
I stop.
"Dear! Go back inside!" Daniel yells.
I fall to my knees in shock. I feel someone pick me up. They yell but it's distance, I'm being shaken violently.
"y/n!" Someone yells.
I'm being picked up again and someone slaps me.
"What the fuck!" I yell snapping out of my trance.
"Don't you smack her!" Someone yells.
I see someone pulled to the ground, and I fall.
"Y/n?" Max says. He comes into my view and he picks me up.
"Put me down Max" I grumble.
He drops me.
"Hey! Don't drop her that hard!" My 'mother' says.
"I can do what I want with my girlfriend!" Max yells.
I hear a slap and Max is on the ground.
"Enough of this! I'm taking my daughter Davey!"
"You didn't want her all those years ago! You made a promise with me!" Daniel yells.
I'm so confused right now, but all I know is that I'm not going with her, I'm staying with my dads.

David's POV:
I can't let her take y/n.
I look up at my evil sister. She has annoyed look plastered on her face.
"What has happened to you brother? You used to be rude, mean, and annoying. We were the perfect troublemakers!" She scuffs. "But now... this place... changed you. You now are so happy and cheerful and innocent" She sneers.
"Cause there's more to life than hating it! There's so many good things!" I yell standing up. I look in the corner of my eyes to see Daniel pick up y/n and slap her.
"Don't you smack her!" Lily yells stomping up to him. She pushes him and y/n falls.
Max goes over to her and picks her up. She grumbles something and he drops her.
"Hey! Don't drop her that hard!" Lily yells angrily going up to Max.
"I can do what I want with my girlfriend!" He yells at her.
She walks up to him and slaps him. He falls to the ground and I can see tears forming in his eyes. Lily and Daniel yell something but I walk up to her. She goes to slap Max again and I grab her hand.

Daniels POV:
I watch David grab Lily's hand roughly. He bows his head and I see him make a very angry face. His brows dig into his eyes and his lip rises to show his teeth. He begins to growl and he raises his head to show his blazing green eyes. Those soft kind eyes now hard, cold, and angry.
"You... do not... lay a hand... on, my, SON!" David yells raising his hand and smacking lily so hard she falls to the ground.
Everyone has there faces pressed against the windows of the mess hall and now they run outdoors.
Gwen stands in shock seeing this.
Lily begins to chuckle and she stands up.
"There you are David" she says darkly. "Come home, and leave this god forsaken- are you even listening to me?!" She shrieks.

David's POV:
I look down at my hand I begin to shake. How-why did I do that. I look to see Max shaking and I step towards him and he backs away. No-
"Hey, hey it's ok... Max" I say gently walking up to him. He stops and I bend down next to him.
"I'm sorry" I say pulling him in close and hugging him.
"It's ok it's just that... you reminded me of my dad and she was my mom how they abused me and dad abused mom. I sit in the corner watching him and I've tried helping her but he hit me and she would later and yell and me" Max confesses.
"It's ok, I'll never ever hurt you and let anyone else hurt you"
"Thank you"
I then heard shrieking from behind me. I turned around to see my god-forsaken sister.
"That's it! I'm leaving this dump and taking my daughter with me!" She yells walking over to y/n and grabbing her hand.
"Let go of me! Dad! and other Dad!" She yells.
I start to get up but Daniel is already grabbing her other arm. Lily kicks his leg and he falls. She drags y/n into her car she slams the door on her and she gets in herself.
"Bye losers!"
"Y/n!" Max yells getting up and running to her.
The car squeals and rushes off. Max coughs on the dust and he falls to his knees. I run up and I pick him up, Daniel runs to my side. Then a vehicle slides in next to us.
"Get in" Gwen growls.
We get in and she speeds off.
We rush down the dirt path following the red car. She turns right and we quickly turn after her.
"Gwen what are we doing?!" I exclaim holding Daniel.
"I'm getting my fucking niece back from my enemy" she growls speeding up in the wagon.
We soon get on her rear end of her car.
"Gwen! Are you going to-!"
Gwen bashes into the back of the car, we lurch forward and out of our seats.

Y/N POV:
I sit up front as something hits us from behind. I turn around to see the four rascals that hit us. I look to the person next to me who seems to be my mother.
"Fuck you" I say.
"Hey! Don't talk to me like that! I'm your mother!"
"Mother my ass you abandoned me you witch! Why would I ever love someone who's never been there for me!" I yell.
We sit in silence as we race down the road. Then it hits me... she only wants me because...
