Chapter 29: Torture

Y/N POV:
I trudge into the Mess Hall, I sulk to a table closest to me a plop down. I put my head down and groan. I hear the door open, but I don't look up. I hear the the bench squeak and movement next to me. I look over and see Max sitting there with an evil grin on his face.
"What did you do?" I ask him.
"Nothing, why'd you ask?" He asks.
I stare at him intensely until he answers.
"Fine! I but fire ants in the campers beds!"
"Oh" I laughed.
He picked me up and set me on his lap.
"Gah! Max what if Daniel sees us!" I shouted, my face turning red.
Soon the doors burst open but we didn't pay much attention to it.
Max held me close then quickly stood up, knocking me to the floor.
"What the hell Max?!" I yelled at him getting up. I look up to see Daniel looking at us.
Well shit, there goes our secret.

Max POV:
"What the fuck you want fucker?!" I yelled pissed and, ugh a little scared.
He looked at us questionable and then walked over to y/n. He reached his hand out and grabbed hers, and he pulled her up.
"Be more careful" he said plainly.
I stood there bewildered then I returned to my smug expression. He walked over to a table and sat down. I looked to y/n and she looked at me questionably.
"Hey we shouldn't trust him" I whispered to her.
"He seems fine now but I agree" she whispered back.
The room had a tense feeling in it. I kept my distance from him and made a protective wall between him and y/n. She rolled her eyes and sat down I could sense something was wrong.
"What's wrong y/n?" I ask her putting a hand on hers.
"Oh it's nothing" she said with a smile. I smiled a little. Soon more campers started coming in and David came in. I could hear some of the campers moan and whine about there any bites. I smirk then stop. I could feel Daniel staring at us. I turned around and glared at him. He rolled his eyes and turned around, I saw David keeping his distance from him. I looked back and saw that Neil and Harrison were on either side of y/n and I saw Dolph about to hand her a bright red rose. I felt my eye twitching and I leaned across the table and grabbed her hand and looked into her eyes. I see her face turning red and I smirk. I pecked her lips and got up and walked away. Out of the corner of my eye I see her slowly standing with a smile creeping in and the boys glaring at me. Daniel is staring as I exit the doors. I take a deep breath of fresh air... blech. I hear the door open behind me and I think it's y/n so I walk into the woods. I turn around sharply and about to tease her till I realize it, was, Daniel.
"Gah! What the fuck!" I shout as he clamps his hand over my mouth. I begin to shout and I try to bite his hand until I feel his hand grab my arm and twist it. A sharp pain flows through my arm. I look down to see that my bone was slightly poking out and it was purple and blue. I scream and Daniel pulls a cloth out his pocket and shoves it into my mouth. I begin to feel faint and I feel my legs buckle. The last thing I see is Daniel creepy smile and his ocean eyes staring into mine.

-LATER-

I awake in a room with concrete walls and a concrete floor. I'm laying on the floor and around me is a sappy red substance. I look around groggily and try to stand. I'm pulled back down by something. My senses start coming back as I feel something cold embrace my wrists and ankles. I hear the shakes of chains that circle me on the floor. I try to lift my arm but then the most longest and painful pang I every experienced(other than emotionally). I hear a doorknob jiggle and I become still. The door creaks open slowly and a head pops in. I give the head a death glare. It's Daniel.
"What-cough- what do you want?" I coughed as blood dripped out of my mouth.
"Dead I want you dead Max" Daniel replied stalking in. "But there are to many people that care about you, so I can't get rid of you" He said now close to me.
"What are you talking abo- ahh!" I begin to say then cry out in pain. He slowly pushed his foot into my broken arm.
He snickered and squat down in front of me.
"Well we have y/n for example or David, Gwen, Nikki, Neil. They care about you" He said rolling his eyes when he gave the other examples. "And obviously y/n would do anything to make me be behind bars." He explained, as he stood up again.
I sat there soaking in what he said.
"Oh, are you now realizing how much of pain in the ass you are Max? And how useless you are?" He said smirking.
I fought back the tears coming. How could I be so blind?! I leaned against the wall and hung my head low.
"You know the only reason your also still alive is because of her" he explained.
"Her? Who's her-" I began to say till my eyes became wide.
"Oh has she not told you?" Daniel asked.
"Why do you care about her and what?!" I shout at him.
"Oh wow she's good, I'm not going to say much, I want to let reality to hit you hard not me" he said. "Now I need you to do some things for me" he said.
"Like hell I will!" I shout.
"You'll do it if people lives are on the line" he said.
"But you care about y/n and David"
"Why would I care about David?" He asks.
"It's obvious, your in love boi, don't lie to yourself!"
"God your annoying"
"Yup bitch"
I could hear him growl a bit and his face is red. I smirk at him being cornered then he grabs my neck and lifts me into the air.
I gasp for air as my eyes get wide. I feel tears coming into my eyes as I grip his arms and hands to pry them off my neck. Tears are flowing down my face as I begin to stop breathing. The last thing I see is his eyes get wide and he drops me. I land on the floor and everything turns black.

Y/N POV:
"Max!!!" I yell as I run through the forest. I saw him come in here and Daniel follow him. Please let him not be dead.
"MAX!!!!" I scream as I almost run into something... or someone?
"Daniel?" I ask as I look up.
"Y/n! Max is hurt, I ran after him to see where he was going and he fell down a super steep hill!" He exclaimed worriedly.
This fucker. He really thinks I believe that?! I sneer and I see Max in his arms bloody up and I see marks on his neck.
"So how long was he falling for?" I asked calmly.
"What?! That's what your worried about?!" Daniel shouts.
"Last time I check, falling down a hill doesn't make marks on your neck. It looks like someone choked him" I said crossing my arms.
Daniel looks at me like I'm crazy then I see a smirking expression crawl across his face.
"Well, well, we'll y/n you still have it in you!" He exclaimed.
I make an angry expression and kick his leg, hard. He drops Max and I catch him and run. I bolt through the woods hopping over logs and swerving out of stumps way. I soon see camp in my view and almost get there till I get snatched back.
No!!
"Help!!! Nikki!!" I scream.
"David! Neil! Harrison! Nerri-" I keep screaming till Daniels hand clamps over my mouth. I bite his hand hard and make him bleed. He shouts in pain, I soon feel water drops on the back of my neck. Soon it begins to downpour. Really? Right at this fucking moment. I feel Max slipping out of grasp and I can't see a foot in front of me. I grit my teeth and try running to camp but almost slip in the mud. I look on my shirt and see my h/c on there. Oh no, I thought it was permanent!! I should have not gone for cheap hair dye! Soon I get to camp and I see David running towards our direction and relief spreads across my face. But before I could yell to him to get his attention I feel a hand on my shoulder and a knife to my throat as I hear Daniels low growl.
"Tell anyone and I'll kill Max and David"
I feel tears coming but I push them back and nod shortly.
"Also y/n, glad to see your real hair color"
I grit my teeth then yell for David's attention.
He sees us and gets to us. He snatches Max and yells for us to come. We run to his cabin in the downpour. I think to myself as to how to escape the hole I've dug for myself and if I can not kill anyone this time at least...
