{First Doctors Appointment}
Erika's pov
Jake and I are waiting in the doctors room. I'm sitting on the table and Jakes on the chair next to me. We found a private doctor which is highly recommended. *knock knock* She walks in and shuts the door behind her.
Lisa: Hi guys. I'm Dr Lisa James.
She shakes our hands.
Lisa: But you can call me Lisa. I assume your Erika and this is?
Erika: Jake
Lisa: Nice to meet you both.
Jake: You too
She smiles.
Lisa: So your results came back, You are indeed pregnant. Congratulations.
Erika: Thank you.
Lisa: So If you don't mind laying back Erika, I'm gonna check the heartbeat first.
I nod. I lay back on the bed. I pull my shirt up. She lays a sheet thing over the bottom half of my body. She sits on her seat. Jake holds my hand. I smile at him. She moves the Doppler around my stomach. It makes weird noises until I finally hear a beat.
Lisa: There it is.
A tear falls from my eye. I smile. Jake wipes it away and kisses my cheek. She moves it a little more.
Lisa: Oh wait.
Jake: Is everything okay?!
Lisa: Yes but I'm getting another heartbeat.
Erika: Mine...?
Lisa: Congratulations you're having twins!
