Chapter 19. why does everyone hate me?

Maddys pov

After michael asking me out I felt so much better, somthing in me felt like because of us making up, a great boulder was lifted off my body.

  but today, today was school and michael said he would intoduce me to "the popular group?"

he said that Cal, ash and luke would probably be a smidge harsh but they'll love me, I know he only said that to be nice though.

we walked into school together, he entangled our hands this time.

I smiled and looked foward.

as we were walking I tried to depart from him so I wouldnt get caught and ruin his rep.

he caught my hand "hey wait, I want you to come hang with me plus the guys"

I sighed

"But what if they dont like me, im sure they wont, they'll only make fun of me plus Ill just ruin your reputation since im...well a loser".

he sighed and turned to me.

he grabbed my hands and shook his head..

"Maddy, I want everyone to know that your mine and no one else's, I told you I love you and I dont care anymore, I dont want to keep this a secret and ill kick anyones ass if they make fun of you"

I smiled widely and took his hand.

"thank you michael" I whispered

in the back of my mind I was actually really nervous, I wiped my worries with a smile as we approached the boys.

luke, ash and calum looked at Michael than me.

"sup michael, bitc-..."

his voice trailed off as thier eyes met with our hands.

"Dude what the hell?"ashton yelled.

I let go of his hand and sighed, looking down at the ground.

michael swiped my hand back and huffed angrily at ashton.

he sighed...

"Guys well madds-"

"MADDS?!?!"luke yelled.

a lump formed in my throat, I tryed look past it.

"luke!" michael spat.

luke and calum raised their eyebrows and crossed their arms.

"what, what are you gonna tell us?"

Michael sighed again and gripped my hand tighter.

"me and maddy...are dating"

their faces blanked..and they started laughing out loud.

calum snorted "You seriously cant...be...dating that...thing?!"

ashton and luke slapped their knees.

tears welled up and I undid michael and mines hand.

"I, ill see you later Michael"

and I walked away before he could grip my hand again.

Michaels pov.

I looked down saw maddy's tears form.

uhhhh this cant happen again,3 days of complete tears.

My pulse sped up and my face turned red.

anger boiled throughout my body.

"I, ill see you later Michael" she whispered.
