Chapter Six

Waking up to my alarm blaring, I turn it off and head for Myrcella's room to wake her up. Having a little trouble in the process. Getting her dressed in a black top, dark blue leggings with cute designs, and a scarf. Taking her to the kitchen to eat a pop tart, I walk into my room and get dressed in my uniform and get my shoes on. Heading back to the kitchen to see Myrcella done eating I get her bookbag and we start to head for school.

"Hello Myrcella, how are we today?" Mrs. Marshal asks her, she says fine and goes to her cubby and puts her bookbag up and takes her folder out. Hugging her goodbye and getting a kiss to, I leave to head to the diner.

"So how was bath time with her after the flour incident?" I ask Patty once I enter in the back. "Let's just say it took me three hours to finally clean her up good." I laugh and put my bag in the locker and go next to her. "Oh your books are in the office. What time will you be leaving the diner?" She asks. Going to the office to see my schedule I look to see when my first class is and what days I have them.

Buisness 101 Monday 4p.m.-5p.m.

Insurance Reimbursement Tuesdays and Thursdays 1p.m.-2:30p.m.

Medical Transactions Tuesdays and Thursdays 3p.m.-4p.m.

Introduction of Sociology Wednesdays and Fridays 11a.m.-12:45p.m.

General Psychology Wednesdays and Fridays 1p.m.-2p.m.

"Mondays be regular, Tuesdays and Thursdays need to leave around 12 so about eleven so I can get ready and Wednesdays and Fridays I'll take a night shift if you need me to." I say to her, putting up my schedule and walking out front with her. "Let's just see how it goes the first week and I'm sure you will need those days off to do homework." She says kissing my cheek and walking off. She knows I hate having the weekends off but escorting makes a lot more with only working 40 hours a week, a months paycheck is only 1,017.36. so you could say the escorting helps out a lot.

"Hey could you run to the bank to get change Jorge?" Patty asks, I walk over and tell her I can do it since I need to take my checks in anyway. Agreeing I take her keys and head to the bank to do a deposit and to get change for the diners registers.

Two o'clock hits and I start to head for Myrcella's school. Hearing my phone ding with a notification I dont bother taking it out since I'm near Myrcella's school. Going to her class I see her sitting at her desk talking to a boy. "Mommy!" She says when she sees me. Kneeling down I hug her and kiss her head. Getting her bag from her cubby we say goodbye to the boy she was talking to earlier. "So, who was that?" I ask her. "Oh he just moved here yesterday and I promised we would become best friends. I'm making so many friends mommy." I smile down at her and twirl her around.

"I'm happy your making friends sweetie. So I was thinking for dinner we could have mac n cheese?" I ask and she nods her head excitedly. Walking up the stairs to the apartments, I unlock our door and enter. Taking off our shoes and hanging our bags, I take my books out and put them on the bar to look at later. "You have any homework?" I ask when I go to the living room to see her putting on a cartoon and sitting on the couch with me. She shakes her head and continues to watch. Hearing my phone ding again, I get up and go to the bar where I left it. Remembering I had a notification earlier I unlock my iPhone and see an email. Groaning a bit I already knew it was another escort job but what I didnt expect was when I opened it.

Once dinner was ready I make two bowels and take them into the living room and handing one to Myrcella, we begin to eat while watching her show. "Listen sweetie. Mommy has to do one more buisness trip again this weekend. Grandma will be keeping you overnight again will that be okay? We can do something Friday whatever you want to do?" I say to her once we are done eating. She looks over to me and thinks before answering.

"Yea that's okay. Grandma promised we make cookies next time and not play like we did before. Can we get ice cream and go to the park?" She asks and I snuggle up to her. " You can have whatever you want sweetie." I tell her.

Tucking Myrcella in bed and going to my computer to see if there is any syllabus on any of the teachers classes, finding none I head to my room to change into a long shirt and tucking myself in, I drift off to bed with a smile on my face. Things were going good now for us it seemed.
