Chapter Nineteen

"You want something to drink?" Alex asked and I nodded to him and he went into the kitchen to get us both a drink. We had made it into the living room and sat down on a couch with some other people talking. I dont even know why I had to be here and wanted to sneak off right then and there.

"Iris!" Someone yelled my name and I looked around to see Jacob coming up to me with some girl by his side. "Hey you came to?" I said to him and hugged him when he got close. The girl came gave me a small smile and tried to think who she was. "Oh sorry, this is my girlfriend Jenny." Jacob said and I smile at her and shake her hand. I didnt know he met someone and I'm surprised that he didnt tell me last weekend.

"Well looks like someone has to tell me over class how this happened." I said with a chuckle and Jacob smiled big. "Where's the boyfriend?" Jacob asked and before I can say anything Alex comes with two drinks and stands beside me, speak of the devil and he may appear. "Hello." Alex says and I introduce him to Jacob's girlfriend. I took my drink and took a swig to see that he got me vodka.

"Hey Alex!" Some guy yelled and came up to Alex and did some bro hug and started to talk. Alex looked at me and introduced me to the guy. "Iris, this is Jason, Jason this is my girlfriend Iris." He said and I gave a small wave after I finished my drink.

"Finally settled down I see, and might I say this one is sure a beauty." He said with a big smile on his face. I looked at Alex and saw he had a small smile, if I didnt notice right away looked like he regretted being a player back in the day. Guess thats why he asked me to be his girlfriend. "Yeah people change, you could say." Alex replies and takes my hand.

"Man you look whipped. No offense I would be to if she was my girlfriend." He laughs at his own joke and Alex shoves him on the shoulder. "Worth it with how beautiful she is." He says and looks at me with adoration in his eyes, I smiled at him and see that he was inching closer to me. Jacob asks us if we wanted to dance but I wanted to get a refill so I tell him once I get more courage in me.

I walk into the kitchen to find me something to mix with and get a coke and rum. Getting a cup and looking around to see a bunch of people talking and making out, I thought it wasnt so bad going tonight. I needed a little break, though I still miss Myrcella badly. Since I'm away from Alex I look for my phone until I realize I left it in his car. Cursing myself and continuing my mixing, I put the bottles back on the counters and go back to the living room to look for Alex.

When I find him I see a girl is talking to him and touching his arm. I wait and look to see what he would do or if he would need any help but he just acts like she isn't there and looking around like he's searching for someone. When his eyes land on me he smiles a little and walks pass the girl and comes up to me in long strides. I was about to say something until he put his lips on mine, with both hands on my cheeks. His lips tasted like water and were so soft against mine, I was lost with how he was kissing me. I gasped when he bit my bottom lip and thrust his tongue in my mouth. Tilting my head to the side a little to get better access, I moaned a little with how his tongue was dancing with mine.

"Get a room Alex!" Someone yelled and I froze for a second after realizing what I was doing. I was suppose to be acting and not get lost and enjoy it. We broke apart and I tried to see Alex's face but he turned his head to the person that yelled at us and was flipping them off. My cheeks were red from embarrassment and I'm sure my lips were swollen like his. But when he turned around I started to laugh. I couldnt help it and when he looked at me with a tilted head, with confusion I burst out more.

About five minutes later that I calmed down a little better and looked at him with a big smile. "You have lipstick all over your lips." I put my hand over my mouth to stop me from laughing more and take Alex's hand to take him to the bathroom.

Once I find a bathroom, after three tries I lock the door behind us. "If you wanted to get a room, you could've got us one of the bedrooms you passed." Alex says with a smirk on his face and I shake my head and steal the mirror to see little smears on the corner. Getting a rag and wetting it I fix mine and throw the rag at Alex to fix his. I lean against the door and watch him with a question at the tip of my tongue. Deciding to ask now than later I clear my throat to get Alex's attention.

"So why did you kiss me?" I asked and he looks back to the mirror to finish his work. "I did it because Jason didnt think we were actually together and also a lot of other people were looking at you and girls were trying to hit on me, so I did it to show everyone that we are together." He said and I shook my head, going up to him and seeing that he almost got it all off, I take the rag and take my finger to my lips to get some off mine and put a little on the side of his lips.

"Well people can think that we made out in the bathroom to." Running my fingers through his hair to give it a little mess, I look at my work and smile. "There." I said and turn to go out of the bathroom until I feel Alex's hand on my wrist and spinning me around and put his lips on mine again. We attacked each others lips and I put my hand on his chest and took a step back. Looking at him dazed and trying to get my breathing back to normal I look at him to see lust in his eyes. I didnt know why he had done it and was starting to look at him confused.

"Contract." Is all I say before he snaps out of it and gives me a straight face. "You needed to look the part to." He said and I felt a little pang in my chest for some odd reason. I dont know why I was hurt by it, I was right we were suppose to be acting and not kissing and liking it. Maybe it was the alcohol doing it all, but if I recall he tasted like water. He passes me and goes to unlock the door, before he does he takes my hand and we walk out together.

"There you are man um you got lipstick on your face." Jason said and looked at me to and pointed to his lips to show I had some smeared also. "Find that room?" He said and Alex just chuckled and said, something like that. I looked down at the floor in embarrassment and it seemed that I was hiding a blush being caught instead. I shouldnt have let him kiss me in there and I still dont know why it happened.
