Chapter Thirteen

"Come on Myrcella we have to wake up and get ready for today okay?" I whisper into her ear and see her stirring. Going to her closet and picking out black skinny jeans that have rips in them and a white shirt I put them on her bed and go brush my teeth. Poking my head back in with a toothbrush I see her almost done getting dressed. Finishing brushing and putting my hair into a messy bun I go to Myrcella and comb through her hair while she brushes her teeth. Putting her hair into a ponytail since she wanted it up I go to my room so I can get dressed.

Getting a flannel and white tank top with blue light skinny jeans I get dressed and go put some tennis shoes on. Putting our coats on and getting her back pack we walk out and head to school. Going to her class and seeing her teacher I kiss Myrcella goodbye and wish her a great day, walking up to her teacher I wait until she notices me.

"Iris hello, how are you?" She asks and I smile at her. She was really nice and liked her. "Good, I wanted to tell you that I would be picking Myrcella up in the after school program?" I asked and she nodded understanding. Thanking her and walking out I head back home debating what I should do. Homework or sleep? I chose the latter and went with homework so I can sleep during the weekend more by going to bed once Myrcella went to bed. Just be easier that way.

Getting home and getting out my folder with some other worksheets I still had to finish before the weekend so I can be ahead next week. Since the professors were only talking about what we will be doing each week and not assigning homework this week I rather get it done and I'm sure some others thought so to, if they were smart.

Looking at the time to see that it was going on 9:40 I decided to pack everything up and get my books for today and put them in my bag and get everything else I needed. Locking up behind me I walk outside and felt the breeze coming. Thank god I took a hoodie with me, I walk to the subway and hoped that it wouldnt be so busy today.

Fast walking to my Introduction of Sociology, trying not to be late since the subways were full and roads were busy. But what you expected from a lunch hour. Greeting the teacher before she closed the door I walked in and found a seat in the front. Hurrying and taking it before anyone else sat in it, I get my pen and notebook out and wait for the teacher to walk up front. "Hello class my name is Miss. Price, I will just get going with the lesson instead of going to do the introductions and syllabus. So let's get started then, take out your text books and we will go over Chapter One." Lucky for me I already did and just followed along and took notes for homework.

After class was done I look at the time to see that we actually got out on time at 12:45. seeing where my other class was, it was on the way by a café here on school grounds. Feeling hungry I walk that way hoping this time that luck was on my side and letting it not be busy and I can go in and out. Hurrying up my pace I walk inside and see that there are only two people in line. Going up behind them and looking at the menu to see what they have. After the two people ordered it was my turn and I told the cashier what I would like and a coffee double shot espresso with it. Waiting on the other side I feel a tap on my shoulder and look behind me. Smiling big once I saw who it was I hugged him tight.

"Hey Jacob! It's been so long." I said to him once I let go and took a look at him. He has changed over the year and in a good way. He had black hair that was shaved on the sides and on top a little spiked, he was fit, and had green eyes. He was my best friend, well I mean he still is no matter what. He left for the summer and it was good seeing him again.

"Hey Iris, I know. I'm sorry I never contacted you during the summer but been busy." I could understand that when you leave to another country for vacation with his family.
