Chapter Nine

Glasses crashed, voices echoed and disturbances were made as I served Anthony with the divorce papers. "I'm not signing that shit, Rosette!! You already promise me forever!!" He yelled at me and I yelled back. "You promised to protect me!! I need protection from you!!" She retaliated.  "For better or worse, Rose." He throws the papers at her. "I can't..." she whispered as tears fell down her face. She stormed into the guest room and locked herself in. She heard the explicit remarks that her husband screamed out.

Loud knocks was heard behind the door with his cracking voice but she stood in silent agony as the cries of her husband was heard. "Rosie...please, I promise I'll be better" I shook my head and kneeled down in defeat and guilt. "No..no Anthony"

The next few days at work was tense. Everyone in the building felt the tension between the separated couple. They watched as the stricken male became more aggressive and items belonging to you in his office was removed.

"I heard they broke up"

"I wouldn't be shocked if he cheated on her."

"I heard he hit her. Remember she came in with a covered bruise"

The rumors wasn't left unheard and they quickly put a stop to it. One side is threatening their job to another confronting them. However, one specific rumor caught the ear of Anthony.

Someone saying that there was an obvious sexual tension between her and the foreign artist. Jealousy and anger raged through him as he went looking for his wife. But his movement came to a pause when he saw the intimacy between the two for himself.
