Chapter Twenty - Two

The screams of Arianna was heard as a stranger called Jaebeom. He grew anxious as he kept hearing the name of Rose being called repeatedly. "I'm a nurse at Cesar's Medical hospital and I was asked to call you." He swallowed tightly as he stood up and left the meeting he was in suddenly. "Yes, whats going on."  "The news won't be easy to take over the phone."  "I'm currently in South Korea, just say it." The screams of Arianna scared Jaebeom and the silence of the nurse made it worse. "Tell me..."

"Fifty minutes ago, Mrs. Rose Carter was in a hit and run..her condition isn't good. It's not good at all." Silence covered the phone. "Is she alive?"  "Barely, we don't--"  "please do your best to keep her stable I'm getting on a plane now." The conversation didn't go unnoticed by the bandmates and executives who came to quarry his disrespect. He was called by they all but his main focus blocked out everyone, he sprinted to his car to race to the airport. Everything which was on his mind disappeared. "She's going to be fine. She'll be fine."

The whole plane ride, the male was anxious. All he had was his wallet and the clothes on his feet. He took a taxi straight to the hospital, his cell phone was now dead and he would need to buy a charger from an electronic store. "Um, I'm looking for Rosette Carter." The nurse chewed her gum, "she's in ICU, who are you to the patient?"  "Her friend."  "Be specific sir, we have a strict list to follow."  "Jaebeom, Lim jaebeom." The gum popped as she smack violently on it, irritating the male even more. "You aren't on the list sir."  "You gotta be fucking me"   "sir, that language isnt allowed."

He ignored her and pulled out his phone forgetting that it's dead. "What about Arianna Huff? She knows me!" The lady took her time and check the list again. "Yeah, she created the list. On moment I think she's already here." She called up to the Intensive Care Unit and questioned the receptions there along with Arianna before letting me through.

"Jaebeom" Arianna cried as jaebeom entered the room. Its only been a month and this is where she is once more. "What happened, what really happened." Arianna shook her head. "I should've answered her calls!! I shouldn't have neglect her!" Jaebeom hand caressed the singer's shoulder and she cried on her best friend's chest. "From what she left on voicemail and text, she left home in spur of the moment because the abuse got worse and she needed a place to stay. She called twice before calling again 30 minutes later and that's when I answered and it was the hospital.. "

Ariana's voice was weak and she looked as if she hadn't slept in days. "She already coded twice jaebeom, they said she won't make it!" Her voice grew as her cries came through. "I can't lose her jaebeom, I can't, I fucking can't" Ariana's breathing became short and he squatted down and held her hands turning her towards him. "Calm down ok, calm down. She going to be fine, she has too. She's strong! You know that more than anyone Ariana." She breathed in and released it repeatedly. He hugged her and walked her to the couch in the private room. "Rest yourself, I'll be here and so will she."

He watched as ariana fell sleep before finally break down silently. "I'm sorry.....I'm so sorry I didn't fight for you harder, Rosette." I grabbed her hand and gasp at how cold it felt. I grabbed both and held them tightly, attempting to warm them up. "You're going survive this, you're going to wake up again and I'm taking you with me. You hear me, Rose, you're going to wake up and you're coming with me. That's a promise--" he stopped mid sentence as he saw a jerk from her and the minor jerk turned into a seizure like movement. "SHE'S CODING!!" He heard a yell as the nurses and doctors rushed in pushing Arianna and I out of the room.

"Ari---" he began as he saw her turn green in the face. "Ari, she gonna be ok..." she shook her head. "She's dying....Jaebeom, she's fucking dying!" She screamed before suddenly collapsing making him fall with her as he attempt to last minute stall her fall. "Oh God, Oh my god. g-get me some help over here!!" He screamed at the other nurses who walked around.
