Chapter Sixteen

Rose POV

Unless business meetings were called, Anthony had me working at his home studio. He monitored my conversations with Ariana and any other friends, he forces me into activities and he tortures me with stories and photos of jaebeom seeing a new girl within the four months after our breakup.

"You know, it's funny how you're mad at me when you're the one who had the affair and been unfaithful in this marriage. You slapped and punched me when I cheated, so how come I'm the bad guy when its vice versa." He laughed. "That nigga already replaced you anyways, his girlfriend is really sexy to. Too bad I don't know korean, I'd fuck her to get back at him"

My throat became clogged with a ball and my chest tightened. He kept taunting as I began inhaling and exhaling to calm myself. "Are you seriously about to have a panic attack?" Her tears welled up as the thought of losing jaebeom became reality.

Entering the meeting I spot four foreign females opposite Got7 and my former band members. "What is this?" It slipped out and the CEO snickered. Sitting down I greeted the females and my band mates with a genuine smile. "This is Red Velvet, they are signed to jyp entertainment in south korea. I invited you all here for a combined tour." Everyone in the room let out a confused and shocked exclamation. The CEO released a sigh as he explained, "rating has went up since got7 arrived. YG approached me with a deal which I cannot turn down."

All he's doing is feeding off of this kpop era, he don't give the slightest damn about these entertainers. Throughout the whole meeting I stood silent as he approached me. "And also before we leave, the school girls are reuniting." He mentioned nonchalantly before ending the meeting and bolting away.

"That son of a bitch" Ariana growled and starr agreed. "He wants to break us up and put us back together when he wants to. Selfish motherfuckers." Brittany added and we saw how uncomfortable both groups suddenly became as we spoke badly towards our boss.

Jaebeom and I caught eye contact for a short moment until he turned to the girl group and started conversation.

I made my way out of the room and turned to my girls. "Since we're reuniting and he haven't given us any advance knowledge of what's next, do y'all want to come over and write some songs like old times?" Starr and brittany went to agree but ariana butted in.

"By Anthony? No thanks." I turned to
Ariana and sigh. "Ariana, please stop." She shook her head and looked at Rose. "You can't tell me he isn't on some bullshit. You haven't called and been in this building for months!!" Starr paused and turned to me. "Say what? You letting him control you?"

Both of my arms flew up, surrendering to their accusation. "You could've just left it at no. I've gotta go, see ya around."
