Chapter Twenty-Five

One year later

"Welcome to the 20th anniversary of Millennium Records!!" The previous CEO spoke into the mic. "As all of you know, I will be stepping down from my position of CEO, however, I will still be apart of the board and family. During this celebration, i wanted to congratulate and introduce the new CEO of the company. You all know him, he went through hell and back but made it out." The duo gathered themselves behind the curtain as the crowd cheered.

"Please welcome, Anthony Carter!!" Ariana and jaebeom smile dropped along with a few others who weren't so fond of them male but the oblivious crowd of fans cheered.

Rose held onto his arm as the both strutted to center stage. His black and white attire matched her furr coat and dress perfectly. They were back together, seen as one as they did before. "Thank you, thank you. Welcome once again, I am estatic for the new position granted to me, and I thank you very much Mr.Richards for the opportunity. I hope you all enjoy tonight and each performances. It's been 20 long years and we made it!" His smile shined and he turned to rose who's eyes sparkled like they did when they first met.

"I thought the doctor said the amnesia wasn't supposed to last this long." Jaebeom whispered and ariana nodded. "I thought so too."

Rose felt hands on her wrist and she turned around quickly. "Jaebeom, you scared me. How are you?" He smiled softly. "I'm good. You?" "Great." She looked up at the moon and stars. "I was getting overwhelmed, so many people and my mind was like...I don't know, i was seeing things that wasn't there." He swallowed as he stared at rose. "You really dont remember us do you?" She turned to him. "Us?"  "ROSETTE!" She jumped out her shoes as Anthony voice boomed through the balcony.

"Come on, people wants to meet you. Little mix are here, they're looking for signing with us." She nodded and left jaebeom with a small smile. "I'm coming soon babe." Anthony smiled softly at her before glaring at jaebeom once she left.

"You just won't fucking stop." They stood their dominance. "Of course I won't, you know what you did to her." Anthony smirked. "Does it ever occur to you that maybe she's just faking to have a reason to leave you and that bitch behind." Jaebeom bit his lip as his eyes faltered a bit. "Oh, I hit a nerve didn't I?" Jaebeom shook his head. "You're just so obsessive, Anthony. You don't even love her, you want to have her because its cheaper. She's giving you the clout you've lost and if you lose her, I bet you lose everything with her."

Anthony fist balled up but he released it. "You don't know shit."  "I know a lot" the two stood in threatening silence before Anthony backed up. "Let her go, she's my wife...my woman, not yours. Don't you have one? Why worry about mines? You were a distraction to her. I love my wife and she loves me, you and ariana ain't in the equation anymore. Remove yourself. " The door opened exposing Rose. "Babe, come on, all these people questions are getting overwhelming for me one." Anthony smirked and went to the door rose stood in. He twisted her body for jaebeom to have the perfect view of when their lips collided.

The short makeout session came to a pause and be stared at jaebeom before he left. He walked to rose and place a simple peck on her cheek. "You will remember us, and I will make sure of it." He commented as he held her face up to him. "I love you way too much to let this go.." he whispered and she subconsciously caressed his forearm. He removed his hand and left the balcony leaving the conflicted female alone in her own mixed thoughts.
